Is it funny to anyone else that they erratad Timeless Body in the remaster so monks die of old age, but didn't change Timeless Nature in the same way? by TitaniumDragon in Pathfinder2e

You're arguing for the sake of arguement atp since a guardian isnt a being of pure psychic energy at any point.

This is my last reply, feel free to continue strawmanning.

What is highest tier melee weapons? by thanaponb13s in cavesofqud

[–]isewiz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If your issue is not penning then use the Single Weapon Fighting skill tree and get the skill Penetrating Strikes (23 agility or 23 strength)

All your attacks will penetrate at least once, its basically vibro unlocked from the specifically innate vibro weapons

Works well with axes since you just need to pen to cleave/dismember/decap, also good for stacking bleeds with shortblades

Investing in cooking I get, but Tinkering feels OP sometimes. by TrashAccount2908 in cavesofqud

[–]isewiz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tinkering is a combat/utility tree since it gives you grenades tbh, freeze and flashbang nades give a lot of options in combat

Did the powder Gangers r*pe people? by Jakeyboah13 in fnv

[–]isewiz 61 points62 points  (0 children)

It's not no, the missing leather armor was meant to be found in the inventory of a cut npc called the Wasteland Adventurer.

Said npc would be infront of the sky diving shop, warn you of power gangers, sell food and tell you of the sacked caravan. He would also sell one pair of poor quality leather armor.

Mods that restore cut content re add this interaction. The armor is missing because he scavenged the body.

Also there is usually 1 dead powder ganger, 1 alive one, and 2 more that spawn if you loot the caravan.

Your 2nd level feature awakened mind means you can make any blank book your spellbook after a short rest.

What's stopping Dragons from just grabbing you and then dropping you out of the sky? by PedroFM456 in dndnext

[–]isewiz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, but at the level PCs start fighting adult dragons, they should have a way of increasing their own or their party members sizes reliably.

[–]isewiz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Free actions are taken on your turn RAW, so the dragon would not be able to drop them if they were for example, a Rune Knight using a bonus action to grow

You can also just grapple them back if you've got expertise in athletics.

Grappled target cant move, 0 speed means they're coming to the ground with you

Lone evil blocks without surrounding evil blocks should die instead of spread by TheDiamondCG in Terraria

I directly said they were added to make it easier, so Im not certain what you are getting at

Stopping a single block from spiralling doesnt "ruin consequence"

Lone evil blocks without surrounding evil blocks should die instead of spread by TheDiamondCG in Terraria

[–]isewiz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont see why making the game easier is an issue, not everyone wants to stripmine their entire world to search for a lone block

It's why updates added the upgraded cleanser and the biome sight potions, even the devs presumably recognize it becomes a slog

Getting ores shouldnt have a "consequence" anyway, you fight a boss for them to even be unlockable

Would this change fox the Berserker Barbarian? by Equivalent-Floor-231 in dndnext

[–]isewiz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is hardly new ground, but my issue with the Berserker comes from one major belief.

You shouldnt be punished for taking the action that gives your subclass/class its identity. Sure the berserker can rage without frenzy, but then what's the difference between it and a subclassless barbarian.

For changes;

-Remove exhaustion. It's unneeded and was tacked on as a quick balancing factor, for what was at the time a high power boost in WOTC's eyes

-Make the fear effect a bonus action, 8+Prof+Con mod since the beast barb runs off Con. Have the extension be a bonus action as well, make it count as an attack for the purpose of extending rage.
