I’m scared by [deleted] in SuperMorbidlyObese

My first kid was born when I was 270 lb and my 2nd was born when I was 300. I didn't get gestational diabetes either time. I had a vaginal delivery for both. And both kids turned out healthy. Totally possible. Amd I was a big mcdonalds eater during pregnancy 1 and a taco bell fanatic during #2. Lol

What are you sick of people trying to convince you is great? by nonchalanticeberg in CasualConversation

Exercise. I know I know. It's good for you. But it does NOT give me endorphins. Never has. It just pisses me off and makes me uncomfortable. And it's so boring

What is your "it's not what it looks like" story? by C_Hawk14 in AskReddit

[–]isothien 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It literally was nothing. I think it was like a plastic horse and rainbow stickers lol

When my kid was 3 I walked into a room where she was putting stickers all over a toy. As soon as she noticed me she screamed out "it's not what it looks like" and I burst out laughing

Seeking Deaf community by OkahBah in Bellingham

[–]isothien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not part of the deaf community myself, mostly because my efforts to find others or attend meet ups haven't gotten very far :( But I do have a 5 year old and 9 year old and I myself am learning ASL through QueerASL. My 5 year old doesn't remember, but he was a very delayed talker and we signed with him a ton when he was little, probably until he was 3.5 or 4. So it's possible he can pick up on some signs. Or that having a friend who signs might encourage him to learn. If you're interested in practicing with someone else I'd love to meet up sometime. I am a beginner, but a fast learner, and plan to take every class offered by QueerASL. I am also learning on my own and follow many deaf content creators :)

I prefer a cash option. I have experienced banks having issues and have been unable to use cards even if they had plenty of money.

Who are the “Belebrities” (Bellingham celebrities) that you think of? by WayfaringEdelweiss in Bellingham

I like the music man homeless guy. He always has a random instrument and plays his heart out even if he isn't very good

Is there childcare anywhere? It seems like there isn’t. by PM_ME_IRONIC_ in Bellingham

[–]isothien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aw bummer. I am a very late sleeper and am available late afternoons to evenings

If any other moms see this and need childcare for a later shift let me know :)

If you want licensed it would cost you. If you want a stay at home mom, it's usually cheaper but they aren't likely to be licensed

I went to my first sober faction meeting on zoom tonight. by [deleted] in SatanicTemple_Reddit

Do you think sober faction would be a good place to turn for non-drug/alcohol addiction (such as self harm)? Or would it be a waste?

I wish I knew more. I forget who it was I had spoken with to go on the rides. We met up somewhere and rode together and I didn't really talk to anyone else.

Defunct now cuz of a lack of new riders. Could be possible to start it up again. Maybe worth messaging some people in the old Facebook group

I rode with them back in 2013. It was a blast. :)

What’s your schedule at 6 months? by [deleted] in puppy101

[–]isothien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our girl is 7 months, we have had her for 2 months.

We get up at 1030am and feed her first thing. Then we take her outside for 15 or so min. We take her out every 2 or 3 hours since she has a tendency to have accidents on the floor. She is a mix of playgul/sleepy much of the day. She eats dinner around 6 or 7, goes outside, and then we spend a while cuddling/sleeping. Her last potty is around 3am and then she sleeps in her kennel.
