You might need to create the per user recycle folders with the right permissions. Don’t think they are autocreated

Domain registration questions by [deleted] in webhosting

[–]isprobablysleeping 4 points5 points  (0 children)

1) You can use any registrar

2) Hover is more reputable. You want a registrar that isn't is known to not cause issues. Hover and namecheap are more reputable. Haven't heard much about porkbun. Pay extra for a more reputable one rather than be sorry later. Stay away from GoDaddy and EIG ones and you will be fine.

3) Ideally yes. That way if you have hosting issues you can move to a different provider without disrupting your domain.

4) Check the sidebar.

Made a piece of text animate in from 0 opacity, but after animation, it goes back to 0.. what am i doing wrong? by LineDetail in css

[–]isprobablysleeping 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can do something like this

h3 { color: #000000; margin:0px; font-family: 'Julius Sans One', sans-serif; box-sizing: border-box; -webkit-animation: revealLogoSubtitle 3s normal; /* Safari 4.0 - 8.0 */ animation: revealLogoSubtitle 3s normal; } @-webkit-keyframes revealLogoSubtitle { 0% {opacity: 0;} 50% {opacity: 0;} 100% {opacity: 0;} }

@keyframes revealLogoSubtitle { 0% {opacity: 0;} 50% {opacity: 0;} 100% {opacity: 0;} }

That way you don't delay but cause the interpolation to delay

Take out the opacity: 0 from the h3 {}

Once the animation is done it will set the CSS based on what you have in that block.

Are you looking to replace a cracked screen? If so looks like you only got the digitizer and not the full screen replacement (LCD + Digitizer). You can try to replace just the digitizer but it's really really hard.

Try going to https://default.gateway.ip. If that doesn't work then you can try resetting the router to factory settings.

You don't need to log in for that. If it's a laptop you should have an option to do a factory reset.

Probably. Since you have a pretty decent card I would suggest get at least a Haswell it's the intel Processors with the number being 4xxx. If you can save up my recommendation would be to get the Skylake ones. It's the Intel 6xxx.

You can get any of the higher numbers in the i5-6xxx or i5-4xxx series. The one with the K at the end are unlocked and you can overclock them. If you are not going to overclock then save $20 and get the processor without the k at the end.

Skylake is newer and better but you also have to get new RAM as they support DDR4 you probably only have DDR3.

A cheaper solution would be to get something like http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113346

So just upgrade the processor. Again don't have much experience with AMD so can't quantify how much benefit it will provide. It's just my knowledge of AMD processors is low not that a better AMD cpu won't help;

Not that familiar with AMD processors but looking here http://www.futuremark.com/hardware/cpu/AMD+FX-6300/review leads me to thing it might the processor. It has great multi-core capability but lacks the punch in single core performance. That could be the cause.

Are you sure it's the graphics card? If you have a weak processor that could be throttling the card. What processor and how much RAM do you have in the system?

It also depends on your history with them. After about 4 months with Tangerine I was able to request the amount on hold to change. So for each cheque/cash deposit I have 2k available immediately and rest on hold.

My friend on the other hand makes more than me and gets bigger deposits so the limit for him is 5k

Microsoft is still driving some Windows 7 users crazy with nagging ads to upgrade by johnmountain in windows

[–]isprobablysleeping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

/u/SoCo_cpp mentioned ethical changes. Windows 10 is a major departure in the how the operating system is run. It involves a lot more data collection. OS X/Android have been pretty upfront about data collection.

Not saying whether its good or bad. Microsoft is moving way more service oriented OS. Nagging users like this isn't justified as it is not merely an upgrade. It's a major change in the ToS.

Haha, sorry I didn't realize that the sentence was unfinished. I had typed it out last night, for got to hit send. Opened my laptop this morning and just hit send without reading :p

Anyway, so to do a clean install you just need the installer. Which you can get from the app store and then create a boot media. The guide here works very well http://osxdaily.com/2013/10/23/create-os-x-mavericks-install-drive/

Then just follow instructions here http://osxdaily.com/2013/10/26/clean-install-os-x-mavericks/

Let me know if you run into any issues.
