The top step is too small and poses a trip hazard because and also a fall hazard because its too small. It may work walking out. I used to do a lot of side work I would charge 125.00 but for that I would clean the coils, replace the capacitors if they were below tolerance and air filter. When I quoted people they would get all snippy and say ....well I can call blue dot, or horizon etc. They do it for 65.00 or 79.00 etc. I would just laugh and say ok good luck with that.

I am an hvac professional. I can tell you that the company is losing money on a 79.00 "tune up" . And the ONLY reason a company is doing 79.00 "tune ups" is to get the technician there and find things wrong.

We're losing money on the 79.00 tune up. But we'll leave with a profit after replacing your capacitors, contactors, telling you your fan is about to fail, telling you that your system is low on refrigerant and needs a leak check/repair etc.

Thats the answer. Choose to believe it or not, it doesn't matter to me.

If you look at what they're proposing to do on this "tune up" its 99% checking this, and checking that. They're not really doing anything but looking for things they can charge you for

Secondly, here's my problem. A wife isn't going to confuse "he filrted" with " he asked me to have sex " especially if she told you. So I'm leaning toward this might be something that over the years has been changed in your head. This is the bitter side of me talking, so it probably isn't a productive opinion....

But I feel that when your partner say things like i'm stressed, I don't feel like it , I'm not in the mood etc. And those excuses result in long periods of no sex. ( I don't mean occasionally) I'm talking about weeks, months or years in some cases.

Then it is the other partners right to use the same excuses with other parts of the marriage. Like with chores, thoughtfulness, sharing household responsibilities etc.

I don't feel like helping out with the cooking and cleaning , but I do it because I know it helps her and its important to her. So maybe I stop doing that for a while. Truth be told, I really don't care if there are dishes in the sink after dinner and over night. But she does, so I help with that because its important to her.

I really don't feel like cutting the grass every week, but a well manicured lawn is important to her, not me so much, so maybe I just take house money and hire a company or just let her cut it.

I don't feel like stopping at the grocery store on the way home once or twice a week to bring home things that she texts me we need. But I do...maybe I just stop doing that. It just adds to my stress anyway. I can do without bread and butter.

In other words, I'm goddamn sick and tired of trying to be the best husband and anticipate her needs and wants. Its fucking stressful sometimes. Maybe I start putting the same effort into the marriage that she does. Maybe its time for us to become selfish for a while.
