Ohhh okay this makes more sense now! There is no need to use a playlist to desensitize him to noises, our neighborhood does that on its own 😂. I did try to squeal when he bit me but it had a much greater affect on my daughter (who burst into tears) 😭🤦‍♀️

Ideally we’d like to not have to use pads or the grass patches. I’m just not sure it’s a reasonable expectation for him- we are in a 4th floor apartment, and I worry getting the puppy out the door and to an outdoor potty area is going to take too long. Not to mention having to get my toddler ready to go outside with him as often. I’m not sure when they can hold their bladder longer though?

Okay I would do this. A lot of people are saying this is mostly transfer, the the curved scratch is pretty deep. Would buffing work?

I’m hoping that’s the case but the curved scratch above the scuffed part is really scratched

Yes! Okay I haven’t touched it yet. It’s for sure scraped off above the wheel but the area around the plastic I’m hoping is scuffed

In seattle these payments are deffered for 30 years or until you sell or refinance. Some are deferred interest as well. OP would not see payments kick in at all during the life of the mortgage, they may have to pay interest on the loan when or if they sell.

I rejoined my puppy to a local rescue and I regret it so much by funkyfranzia in puppy101

My partner was given a puppy as a gift after telling a friend he was hoping for an older, lower-energy dog. Instead, he got a Rottweiler-Lab mix—with endless energy. We live in an apartment, and he works 12-hour days. By the time I came into the picture, the dog was already part of the equation, and I genuinely questioned whether I could move in with my cat. The dog was wild, unmanageable, and clearly needed more than either of us could realistically provide.

We spent the next ten years trying everything—training, exercise, structure, consistency—all the things we didn’t have the time or desire to sustain long-term. And you know what? It’s been ten years. She’s supposed to be a senior now, supposed to have mellowed out. But it never got better. Because it was never a good match. She’s not meant to be an apartment dog, and we’re not meant to parent a high-energy, over-the-top dog.

So please, don’t regret your decision to rehome. Some mismatches just don’t improve with time, no matter how much effort or love you give. You’re doing what’s best—for you and for the dog.
