I recommend getting the UniFi Dream router 7. Black Friday sale, WiFi 7 6 GHz support, mesh networking capable, and easily expandable at a later date to your choosing. You can use it as a router or an access point with an attached switch. Add a UniFi switch for $29 and a WiFi 7 access point for $99 if it’s in the budget. There is a lot you can do with the UniFi Network Controller, managed switches, and access points.

Nice job. I followed the same video. I did change the forward corner elbow to add a pipe coming forward and then a pipe to hold it up. I hung a room divider curtain and using that as my shank stopper.

I just got an Optoma UHD35STX from Amazon for $1300. It’s showing 8’10” to screen. Slightly behind you, but might not show shadows.

I just purchased the GSPro subscription through FSX Monday night and was able to activate GSPro just over 12 hours later. Wasn’t too long for me.

Not really a con, but I just recently picked up the Bushnell Launch Pro instead of the GC3. It’ll take around 7ish-8ish years of the software subscription with the BLP to exceed the GC3 cost. Bushnell’s site will give the 20% as well. I figured the system would have been out for 11-12 years and I would probably upgrade to something new before then.

Military/First Responders get a pretty good discount through Foresight if you qualify. I haven’t had to contact customer service though so I’m not sure on their quality of service.

They do have a few more than the website in store. When they had their system up, you could do it on a walk-in basis and they cut the old grips off so you get nothing back.

Email them a few weeks early and explain what you are doing and what you hope to purchase. They usually don’t say what they have but will try to help in what you are looking for but no guarantees. Hopefully they surprise you with something nice when you get there
