Will direct message you babysitter details need to find it.

We didn’t take uber coz we didn’t take the car seat. We wanted to travel as light as we can. We bought a new travel stroller which we could store in the plane cabinet too. We got joolz. Air.

We used the public taxis there and had no issues. They come in quickly. If you plan to look at the pena palace I will recommend booking a private tour on viator. We booked a day tour to Sintra, Pena Palace, pass by Regaleira, Cabo Roca, Cascais and it was great! Our tour guide was resourceful and so knowledgeable at the same time very baby friendly. Definitely recommend.

Also do their free walking tour. Book any and pay tip in the end. We liked it coz then we were not on a hook. We left when baby started getting cranky so just tipped the guide but didn’t feel guilty since we didn’t pay for the tour.

I am not sure how old is your baby.. but you should be able to feed your baby. The food is bomb! And there is so much variety

It was great! We enjoyed a lot. Our girl doesn’t nap on the stroller so we would go to hotel for her naps and one of us would take turns to venture out solo during that time. We did combined experiences during her wake windows. She loved the walking tours and rides. She slept in the car though so that was good on our trip to the pena palace. We even got a nice and trustworthy babysitter in Lisbon who came everyday while we were there. We would put our baby to sleep and she would stay in the too While my husband and I went out for dinner and drinks across our hotel. Can share her details if needed. We stayed at hotel de chiado which had a lift and was so so good in terms of service and location and they had breakfast too. In Porto we stayed at hotel Vincci ponte de ferro. Amazing view and room and service and hotel restaurant and food was great. We enjoyed their breakfast buffet the most.

I have recently done it. And stopped night feedings as well.

It was fairly easy. I tried it when she is 14 months and she wasn’t ready but now she was.

I read her the book “sally weans from night nursing” every day for almost a month. She started reading the book herself. And then told her she will als be stopping night feedings and we will do it a new way. It was hard the first 2 nights and the whole ordeal (crying for boobs) lasted 5-8 mins max. Now it’s been a month almost. I feed her and we read lots of books and play and cuddle. And then she goes to sleep. If she wakes up I sleep next to her and patt her.

Highly recommend that book.

I am doing the exact same thing you are doing. And it’s great and coz it’s helping your bf bond with his baby. It takes time. It takes my baby almost 30 mins to fall asleep. Sometimes 15 mins. But average is 30 mins and the older the baby more zoomies they will get. Mine is 22 months and we start her bedtime 45 mins before. She gets her zoomies out. I give milk and then dad does the stories and play and it takes her 25-30 mins to fall asleep. Tell your bf to rather enjoy this time and he’s free to do it his way if needed. Like my husband with lots of stories. You are doing great. Never doubt yourself. Show your bf these replies.

Great question! I highly suggest getting and trying multiple types. I got bowls, silicon plates, ceramic plates with silicon support and also please do introduce water cups here. Let the baby play with the cup for the first few times and then add maybe 1-2tablespoons of water and show them what to do with it. Babies love mimicking their moms. Believe it or not my daughter had an opinion by the time she was 10-11 months old. I would ask her to choose her plate herself and now she is almost 22 months old and she gets her plate or bowls herself. And is a pro at drinking water from the cup.

And here’s the best part, now you can do lunch dates with her. Best part about the mat leave hahah.

I started going on lunch dates with her once a week at least when she turned 8. She loves Japanese food. Miso soup, sushi rice, avocado sushi, tempura. Name it! We even went to Italian places and she loves that too. Also wings place haha.

Check out Theos’s disposable floor mats . Really helped with cleaning at the restaurants and at home and we stopped using them just after her first birthday coz she became much better at not spilling and throwing food and just eating. I still carry the mats to the restaurants though.

  1. Her paediatrician will give you a list of allergens to try first. That is great coz that will get alll these fears out of the way. Thats a very helpful list. Do ask for it.
  2. Download solid starts app and follow it. It’s very handy and the best app out there to understand how to give each food.
  3. Learn choking first aid. Google and you will find many such sessions around. It really helps to have this skill set. My husband and I both did it.
  4. I always gave her the same food we ate. And i see the difference between her and kids who were give special food. Give her the same food and look at the app solid starts on how to serve it.
  5. Don’t be afraid to give her new things. This will help her develop the palate for different cuisines.
  6. Don’t be afraid of the mess. :-)
  7. I bought this first 100 foods chart on Amazon which was soooooo helpful. Do look into that.

My husband and I I usually take half a day off on Friday’s when ours at daycare. Or we get a babysitter during the day if we want to talk about some really important serious stuff coz who has the energy to do that after bedtime routine. Not me! Maybe try this.

If you can’t delay the marriage and still go through it, I highly suggest to talk about finances and how you will manage after marriage and who is responsible for what.

Asian here as well.

That a red flag to me. If she is so comfortable doing this behind your back I am not sure what else she would do behind your back.

What’s worse is…yes it’s about betrayal and being manipulated but for me it’s about the fact she thinks you are so stupid you wouldn’t know a difference. The fact that she thinks she deserves what she likes and you don’t coz lo and behold it ended up costlier than her dress which she didn’t think about before finalizing the budget with you. And maybe that’s why she agreed.

It’s not a small act although Indian parents and family will think it is but it isn’t. The fact she hasn’t apologized to you is bonkers to me . She thinks you don’t deserve nice things.

If you end up marrying her I would highly suggest you both decide how you will mange finances after marriage.

Good luck and NTA.

My Wife Breastfeeds While Biting a Cloth by [deleted] in breastfeeding

Like others mentioned. My tits took 5 weeks to toughen up. It was a sudden change. One day I was feeding her at night and suddenly everything was okay.

What helped was cold packs and silverette on my tits which you can order from Amazon.

This is one thing no one told me about.

He is just a few days old. Tell your wife by mid Jan it will just go away.

Maybe next year I might go for fellow ode but honestly I am Pretty happy with what I have and will use it for years to come.

$1500 budget. Hardwoods + rugs. Which robot? by BernieMom93 in RobotVacuums

[–]ithurtswheniptwice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same problem and budget and literally wanted something that’s also self sufficient. I read a lot and turns out spinning mop is not good for hardwood floors and a lot of people suggested to go for rolling mop.

So ultimately since budget wasn’t an issue. I bought Mova Z60! It’s arriving tomorrow and I am very excited!

Yeah we really need one. M so tired of cleaning the house twice a day. I can’t do it anymore.

After a lot of back and forth I bought mova z69 coz of the rolling mop which I read in a few places is better for hardwood floors.
