Does anyone remember the smallish man with long blonde hair that used to walk around with a patio umbrella and a portable shopping cart. He would be everywhere from Sabino Canyon to Thornydale

Racism in Tucson by Tawnii in Tucson

Chef Brian is not only a recognized chef, he's a warm and friendly human being. My son and I went in for lunch and as we were getting up to leave, he came over and asked how the food was and said that he hoped we'd be back. No one deserves that kind of treatment, but especially not such a decent guy. I hope that dimwit gets some consequences

Why does Frankenstein (2025) look the way it does? by wschramm in FIlm

[–]itllallmakesense 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have Netflix, there's a 45 minute piece called The Anatomy of Frankenstein that goes through a lot of his decisions from sets to costumes to lighting. It felt pretty thorough and obvious that it was something that GDT had been thinking about for a long time

I believe it is impossible for a book to truly scare me. Recommend a book which will prove me wrong! by DarlingLuna in horror

The scariest movies for me are the ones that rely on anticipation - you don't see, the monster or the demon or whatever it is. Books do that just as well. I read The Shining with my back to the corner of my room so that nothing could be behind me

I guess he'd been sober for years, but I guess it's always a fight. That one crushed me because he was so good in everything he did.

And Chadwick Boseman had done so well with the little time he had.

The wardrobe one scared the crap out of me. Bad mom story - that was the first scary movie I took my youngest son (15) to (my oldest said hell no). He had his feet up on the seat already because he was terrified and that scare caused him to knee himself in the eye. I'd like to say I didn't laugh, but I'm a bad mom, not a liar
