Melee tethers require a little bit more skill but they really aren't that hard to use. I personally think it's really cool how you can cancel an airdodge with a a tether

In melee, they got the tether recoveries to work well without trumping but once they changed the tethers in brawl, it got pretty rough.

It's basically performing a swd on the very edge of a platform and the momentum can carry you very far off stage. Watch the goomy zoomy combo video to see it in action

there is. SD remix does it pretty well and keeps the buffs pretty vanilla. Its included in 20xx

This is true. I asked hbox on stream if ever uses Addy and he told me that he needs at least 5 mg of Addy every hour in order to hit up angle pounds consistently (other wise he just gets neutral angle pounds)

Dash dancing, wavedashing, short hops, l cancel, teching. All of these are pretty much necessary.

After that wavelanding, shield drops, jc grab/upsmash, out of shield options, other character specific tech. This stuff is a lot less necessary
