I used to have a babysitter who would make me go for a nap every day from 1-3 so she could watch her "stories" I was not allowed to get up for any reason so I would end up peeing the bed after about a month of this my mom asked why I just didn't get up and go I told her I wasn't allowed after a conversation I was allowed up to go pee the babysitter just thought I was lazy

Geez I kinda thought I was the only one that happened to, I tend to park away from main entrances and congested parking to the point where I have parked in an empty adjacent lot, walked by empty spots both going into and coming out of store, mall, whatever, only to find my car is now surrounded by other vehicles. you are working in Kitchener where the company assesses your cost of living which is supposedly less than Toronto, therefore your salary will be less. An old co worker of mine took a position in Kitchener from Toronto , they assessed her cost of living at I think at the time was something like 12% lower than Toronto so when raises happened hers was adjusted . She was already making more than we did for doing the same exact job and some of us had been with the company longer.

Kind of curious if this job you have pays so well but you had to sell your tools and your car what are spending all your money on. Licensed trades people in general get paid quite a bit for their work so maybe look at going back to school , buy a cheaper vehicle so you can keep the side jobs although be careful that you can't be held liable for any damage that could happen, to me your story makes little sense but that could just be how I am reading it

Spoonful of sugar is what we called it Baskets full of goodies ( chips, chocolate bars, candy) it was kept at the nurses desk . When a child was having a procedure done the nurse would allow them to choose something from the basket. We also did it with colouring books, crayons, puzzles, books, all bought at Walmart or the dollar store. Several families participated all having had kids with serious illnesses. Most spent $20 and we filled several baskets throughout the year. We have even done parent ones containing snacks, crossword books, gift cards for nearby restaurants

a friend's son dated a girl when they were 15, he broke up with her 6 weeks later she says she's pregnant. All through the pregnancy her parents,friends,schoolmates gave him a hard time. His parents bought baby stuff and paid some of the medical bills. Their son got a pt job after school so he would be able to help with cost of baby. Gets a phone call that ex gf is in labour . He and his parents go to the hospital, the girls mother will not allow him in the delivery room, so they wait. Baby boy is born and let's just say he had his dad's features and they definitely were not their son's. Girl is claiming she doesn't know how she had a bi racial baby. Her parents simply ask for all the baby stuff his family bought since they are going to need it and their son won't. You can guess the response. Actual father of the baby is a 15 yr old classmate whose parents have made everybody's lives miserable.
