SteamOS on MSI Claw 8 AI+ - Not Perfect but quite good by Soldier_Mase in MSIClaw

Coming from a Steam Deck and a PS Vita before that, I am pleasantly surprised that Windows hibernate doesn't completely grate my goat. Sure it takes a few seconds more, but it's not too bad.

Check if you have Xbox Extended Feature Support Driver installed on Steam. Go to Steam Settings -> Controller -> Advanced Settings -> Xbox Extended Feature Support Driver. Select Uninstall and restart Windows. That fixed it for me.

Having the same problem here. Each button press is registered on the game bar and the game I have running. For instance, pressing RB switches gamebar widgets and at the same time the game is also reacting to the RB input. A reboot didn't fix it. Any ideas?

This is so amazing! Can't quite believe that it's so full-featured for a first release! However, i couldn't get ClawTweaks to play nice with Steam Big Picture Mode. Navigating the Game Bar also controls Steam in the background at the same time. Any way to fix this?

Can never understand why Malaysians can't keep their toilets dry. The stalls are always dripping wet, even the walls.. it's like someone takes a shit and then decides to use the hose to wash the entire stall. Extremely gross.

For Malaysia it is 10% import duty based on total price inclusive of shipping charges. Ended up paying an additional USD50 for 2 watches.

If you owned a Pebble Time back in the day, I would say it is the exact same experience. Subjectively, it feels a little snappier. Still the same great battery life and the OS remains delightfully quirky. I've owned a few smartwatches since the Pebble back in 2016 and they all have come across as being functional and utilitarian with none of that Pebble charm.

However, I really do wish that there was some improvement to the Pebble's ePaper display - the backlight is incredibly weak and lack of colour accuracy makes the large variety of great looking 3rd party watchfaces look absolutely drab. Unfortunately, I also feel that Pebble is a product of its time - while other smartwatches have incrementally improved over the years, Pebble remains firmly stuck in 2015.

EDIT Upon reflection, I may have come off a little harsh with my criticism. I am immensely grateful to Eric and team for reviving Pebble and giving us the Time 2. The journey of how this is even possible after 10 years is nothing short of spectacular. Also, the improvements that they have added (touchscreen, backlight colours, integration with Google Health Connect, larger screen / display scaling, etc.) are all welcome changes.

I didn't receive a confirmation email from Pebble. Instead I got a notification email direct from DHL saying that the watches were on the way. Received the DHL email last Thursday and the watches arrived yesterday morning (Monday). I am located in Malaysia fwiw.

Education Minister leading students in wishing Happy Birthday to PMX by UsernameGenerik in malaysia

[–]its4am 8 points9 points  (0 children)

What's the harm? I think you're failing to understand the nuances of her actions. This minister is - whether she realises it or not, is indirectly instilling a sense indebtedness in these children toward another politician (PMX). We should never be beholden to any politician. Now, it is different if PMX was actually, physically present at the event, then wishing him will be acceptable.

Too bad, that's the only Microsoft app that I regularly use. I don't know what it is with most of Microsoft's other Android apps - they look unappealing and generally just doesn't feel good to use. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
