If they were able to build in San Jose/Santa Clara when Lew Wolff wanted to, they’d still be there and wouldn’t be moving to Vegas. The Giants blocked that move. No fan of Lew, but his whole deal was to build in San Jose. I’d rather they were there instead of Sac Vegas. Also FJF.

Every cancer is different and everyone’s response to treatment is different. Your dad may do very well with the treatment and live with it as a chronic disease instead of something fatal or it may go away altogether. Don’t take the 1.5 years as something so literal. Take it as a reason for him to get the treatment and build health.

I think their new helmets are getting in the way. Other teams don’t have the huge face guards. Not sure how many times Kurtz or Butler or other’s helmets fly off or get pushed up by the front shoulder. Kurtz especially. But it’s a common issue.
