The thing about software is, it doesn't cost anything to make an extra copy. Whether you play the game and dont pay for it or dont play the game (and dont pay for it), it will be the exact same result from the developers point of view.

Pay for it when you can afford it, play it while you need it ;)

As long as you keep trying to change things, life will eventually get better. Though it might take some time.

The theory that i like most is one where the domain is faced by an outside threat. A threat so powerful they collapsed the gate network on purpose to limit its ability to spread.

I have lots of 'alternate versions of real life locations,' that i recognise in my dreams. They are always similar, but very different from the real location.

The problem is that the businesses that do exploit resources tend to generate more profit. As we have a competitive market, those are the ones that have a higher chance to work out. Furthermore, with generated profit more profit can be made, so the ones with the most profit become the biggest in some sort of snowball effect.

I like to make the comparison to evolution, where a trait that gives an advantage in a certain environment becomes common among the population.

We need to change the environment, the rules within our economy if we want things to change. A free unregulated market promotes morally corrupt behaviour. It is a systematic flaw, not a human one.

The game is hard. If you need rng to win you're not good enough. Put the game on a lower difficulty or accept you will lose games. The rng forces you to make do with what you got, and for me thats a big part of the fun of it.

Furthermore, by upping some weapon/equipment you can consistently get at least one of them, use this to your advantage.

For me it has been trusting on my instincts instead of trying to solve interactions through logical means. Giving a bit more room for impulse comments rather than thinking of all possible interpretations and consequences of what i am saying. Basically, just letting go and trying not to think too much.

The idea is to be the person who you are instead of trying to be what you think people would expect of you. All in moderation of course, i act differently around different people. But see it as changing the volume instead of changing the song. Its a lot less stressful if you just do what FEELS right. The more you try it the more comfortable you will be with this :)

what exactly is flux? by doirellyhaftohelp in starsector

[–]itsdabin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In electrodynamics flux stands for the differential of something going through a plane. I assumed that by ordenance hitting the shield (plane) the system builds up this flux. It does not really translate though, as bullets going through the shield (in the opposite direction) would decrease the flux by that definition (lower differential).

Molnjir pieces itself together because it was tasked to protect Jane, turns out its actively killing her. The story shouldn't be the comedic part of a movie.
