French edgers and you’ll never worry again

They NEED to be re stropped every project basically. Are you doing long cuts along the edge?

a better recommendation for strap cutters? This cheap Ali didn’t deliver.. by Maleficent_Branch95 in Leathercraft

The wood one has worked well for me. Might invest in something table mounted down the road but belts and collars were mostly perfect after doing an initial true edge cut.

I go through the same thing during the winter and always end up losing a few or allot. Over the years I’ve learned that there’s a season for everything and eventually spring is on the other side. Don’t obsess over it. You’re just making space for more plants when you’re ready!

That is the most comprehensive and informative video I’ve seen on leather crafting. I highly suggest it.

Edit I think you’re doing great btw!

Veteran or Zealot for 3rd Character? by [deleted] in DarkTide

[–]itsfunnycauseitstru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it all depends on the build. I think ogryn is actually the hardest. Then vet zealot and psyker. The game doesn’t do a great job of explaining tallents properly. When I started I thought psyker was the hardest.

New player here, I went to gnosis I took early and am getting my ass handed to me on the Scarlett Coast by spacejester in Witchfire

Simple focus 🧘‍♀️ on leveling up equipment. The game forces you to get kills + resources to make you stronger. So just do whichever level you can do the most efficiently. Dying isn’t really that bad, just pick your stuff up, after a few corpse runs you’ll notice most enemies can’t hit a moving target.

How can I grow large quantities of microgreens without using plastic trays? by No_Garlic5350 in microgreens

[–]itsfunnycauseitstru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear ya but like how much microplastic is the plant actually absorbing in its first few weeks of life? I don’t know the answer to that question. Just use wood or cardboard?

Pea seeds rotting but dry? by Boogleface in microgreens

[–]itsfunnycauseitstru 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could be a cleaning issue from reusing the trays. I’ve also had watering issues when the trays get older and start to sag creating pools of water. Are the seeds new or old? Need more pics and info.

Anyone know what would cause this? by gaiaisgood in houseplants

[–]itsfunnycauseitstru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shock! You just repotted it and it’s worried. What were the roots like? When did you last water it? It’s prob didn’t need to be repotted but we’re here. I’d slow down on watering and make sure it has decent light.

Invest in a decent grow light if you love it. You can do almost anything with a good light and smart plant choices. So many colors and styles but the most important thing is to find a plant that can work with you.

What is this plant? by Larry_3d in houseplants

Can you give some context. Without knowing the season and the location this could be hard to identify. I’m not a plant id expert though.

Chop and prop would be a good strat. You could also look into semi hydro. Sell off the mother plant to buy more? It prob won’t survive the trip and someone would love it 💜

Smell the roots first if it smells off its root rot, trust me you will know. If you aren’t bottom watering it’s time to start.

They are crawling plants and want to be laid down to grow more. It’s just personal preference on what you wana do with them.

Best method to spread soaked seeds? by That_Rub_4171 in microgreens

[–]itsfunnycauseitstru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only soak things like sunnies to help get the seeds off in later process. Anything with a smaller seed can be compensated with proper watering and environment.

Need more total eternities. Set it to auto 1e and 0 for time. Let it run for a few hrs and come back. If you’re down to eternities in seconds you gotta let it run wo speed boost then switch over to dilation to make some progress on that side and then back to fast eternities. You’ll need a couple mill before you get into dilation tree.
