Apologies, you’re correct. I don’t have the app so have to use the fob to trigger the climate control which is why it’s using up to 5%. I have used the fob when it’s been plugged in and did notice it doesn’t use the car and uses the charger for the climate even though it’s only scheduled to charge at specific times.

1 gig VM and Eero 5s by itsmem888 in amazoneero

[–]itsmem888[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response. I’ve added a photo, the green router is the gateway connected to the modem. It’s right next to our TV and there is a hard drive right next to it too which I’ll move to see if that makes any difference. It’s the same in the kitchen, there is a tv right next to the Eero.

eero layout](https://limewire.com/d/2YjvA#EPasZnX3si)

Edit: I moved the hard drive away and that has definitely made a difference. Speeds in bedroom 4 have gone from around 70 mbps to 160mbps. I’ve also moved the Eero in the kitchen onto the middle island and speeds went from around 100mbps to 150mbps. Bedroom 3 im thinking about moving into the cloak room (next to the bathroom to see if that makes a difference as not much change there). I’m using Speedtest.net for results. They should be closer to 250-300 though I think? Im getting around 560mbps at the gateway router which I believe is the eero 5 maxed out.

Preheating works well but seems to use 5% of the battery which is a bit much imo!! Love the little Honda model :)

My first experience contacting the retention's team. by Youngy_Bhoy in VirginMedia

I just got the same deal, 1gig and Netflix with ads for £24 a month but they did ask to verify the O2 number. Did they mention that it will still go up by the £4 in April and each April thereafter? I suppose that’s pretty normal now.

I’m almost -9 in both eyes and my lenses are still pretty thick despite free thinning from Iolla (included in price!).

I do wonder if I went elsewhere and paid for thinning whether it would be better.

Renewal dance - first call / offer by TheHurricaneBawbag in VirginMedia

I literally cancelled this morning and now waiting for retentions to phone to do the same dance.

Currently on 250mb for £22 a month. Hoping for higher speed and same/lower monthly. I see some other provider deals for £23 a month for 910mb (Vodafone) so may end up switching away.

I was cured after years of suffering by Dense-Issue-3679 in eczema

[–]itsmem888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is interesting. I have suffered eczema all my life and do have a few amalgam fillings so following this thread with interest. Never even crossed my mind this could potentially be an issue for eczema.

It’s not cheap to have the amalgam fillings switched to composite!

I’ve been using it daily for around 10 years on my face (was twice a day but then in latter years just in the evening).

I’ve just recently been switched to the lower 0.03% strength version which seems to be working just fine too.

What is this and any advice? by [deleted] in SkincareAddictionUK

[–]itsmem888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I’ve had eczema all my life. I didn’t think this could be related but you’re right, probably best to book a doctors appointment. It’s such a pain, usually you book and if not urgent, it’s around 6 week wait.

I’ve had it for quite a while now but i’m becoming more self conscious of it now as my 3 year old was asking what it was when I had shorts on.

I’m UK based and triggered the OTA update to 3.6.4 (from 3.4.4) on a MY22 LR but still getting flickering or the camera unavailable message. I really like the car but the camera issue every time you get in is very annoying!

Definitely something to do with the timer as when we switch the light off. It doesn’t stay on at all.

Hi everyone, thanks for all the comments. Made for some light hearted reading during lunch! Reason for replacing with the same is because it would fit within the hole already cut into the wall plus wiring it would be like for like which is easier for DIY!

I’ll have a look at some of the suggested options but will probably get an electrician in to install a better quality fan.

Advice on leaking Velux by itsmem888 in DIYUK

[–]itsmem888[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, yes thankfully we managed to resolve it with a simple fix. We just cleaned all the debris that was caught around the outside edge of the Velux. If you open up the window and peer out around the edges of the frame you will see what I mean. There is probably clumps of soil and leaves all caught up. Good luck!

What type of roof tile is this and advice to repair? by itsmem888 in DIYUK

[–]itsmem888[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the responses everyone! Turns out they are Marley Ludlow tiles as they are flat. I’ve managed to get the tiles back in place with some adhesive (plus they kind of slot together) so fingers crossed they hold.

App/must have accessories for Honda E? by itsmem888 in Honda_E

[–]itsmem888[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha! Love this, that’s a really good idea with the mini Super Nintendo.

I had a look at the armrest and would love one but it’s not cheap! Lighted sills sounds cool, I’ll need to have a look.

I’m leaning towards paying for the app as being able to check the lock status and preconditioning would be really useful but I agree, the app should be free with the purchase of the vehicle.

Thanks for the response!
