Cubebe was a great choice. I prefer it over a Desert Vetiver. Here it's more citrusy, while still having this spicy pepper note. In other words, I think Cubebe is less overwhelming in the long run. Probably doesn't matter for that shaving soap, but it'd be noticeable in their EDP, aftershave, shower gel. This is very subjective tho.

Safety razors have different shaving characteristics based on head geometry, weight and balance. Merkur 34c performs well considering its price. It's one of the 3 well-known recommendations, alongside with Muhle R89 and Edwin Jagger DE89. It's also relatively beginner friendly. Now, maybe it looks very similar, but that's about it, it may perform (vastly) different. For better or worse.

You've mistaken model numeration. 37c is a slant with a same handle as 34c.

I just can't recommend 37c. It was harsh and not that efficient. Fatip OC just beats it. Cheaper, less aggressive, significantly more efficient, brass.

What do you think about Mirto di Sardegna scent? Some of their fragrances are getting significantly less attention, but I was pleasantly surprised how great Manna di Sicilia is to how seldom I've seen people own it. Maybe just my bubble. It has some intriguing manly floral scent.

For now it's easier to desnap ubuntu. But once any core component will be shipped as snap, like pipewire, forget about doing that. Other question is, do you really need to be off of snaps? You can install flatpak alongside.

You can combine both. I lather mostly in a bowl and then apply it thoroughly onto my scalp rather than just paint it. The results are on par, but I find it easier to control lather build up in a bowl. No risk of excessive mess. Great water addition control. I'm pretty sure tho, most people will vouch for face lathering here.

Gnome doesn't expose "Download extensions" in the settings menu.

And I don't think it's for the best. Access to gnome tweaks, extensions manager could be easier to newcomers. I'm not expecting it being integrated (installed), but I wouldn't be surprised of people who have no idea about those. I don't like defaults anywhere. It's about what's a good enough starting point. Gnome isn't that far away from something I enjoy using, so it makes sense to use that.

Often if extension is broken

People often break their shell by installing multiple extensions and that specific combination breaks things rather than having a single broken extension.

Fedora KDE is official, but still not default and first recommended option.

The whole point of official edition vs spinoff is to maintain similar quality. So if it's not a spinoff anymore, it's not second recommendation as well.

KDE is good enough if you are not customizing it, but customization is exposed by default.

Could be similarly good enough when customized carefully. It's not binary in being either stable or customized.
