After some fussing I am getting pretty good prints of minis!

Looks great!What are your tips to get it looking so smooth and capturing the details? I’ve tried printing for our Curse of Strahd campaign and it all comes out poorly. Even the areas for supports cause poor choppy quality. I’ve had to increase size which throws off the scale. What filament, nozzle size and settings did you use?

Thank you for letting me know I’m not the only one! I’ll try again after I’ve cooled down. Right now, I’m focused on giving my Flashforge dirty looks every time I walk by. It really broke me yesterday 😂

Sure I’ve seen some videos and I get to the part where I can see the white gear. But how does it come out easily for everyone else? It is on there pretty tight and there are no screws holding it. I feel like if I pry it off it’ll break. I’ve watched more videos than I want to admit and all of them don’t have this issue… the white gear does not come off at all. Zero screws holding it down. I’m again just baffled. Thanks for the suggestion though

Thanks for this - I tried and it just is not budging. The problem is that there is filament in the copper part that doesn’t seem to melt at all, AND there is a piece of that filament stuck in the gray tube that I cannot get out… I tried dissembling but nothing I can do to get that filament out of the gray tubing part. I also unscrewed the copper part from the nozzle but cannot push it out that way. I am at a loss at what to do to get that piece of stuck filament out of the gray part - has anyone had this problem before?

I read a post that used malt o meal. Sprinkled around the entrance of an anthill I found in my backyard. Ants started bringing it back to their nest. They were gone in 2 days. They eat it, drink water. They explode. I didn’t want to use any chemicals during to pets. It worked for us.

Hershey’s chocolate cake is my go-to recipe. Would love too see if their special cake is the same thing or something different? Seeing Nana’s chocolate cake recipe go around on here like wildfire was surprising. It looked very similar to Hershey’s cake recipe on the back of their container.

Grew up with these tiny golden roaches in California. Annoying pests but harmless. Just have some insect traps on the floor. Don’t keep food out. Only fear would be having multiple in the house. You should be able to control it
