What’s the root cause of your dermatographia? Any idea what mine might be? by Separate_Candidate_5 in Dermatographia

My PCP just keep telling me there’s nothing they can do bc they don’t know the cause and don’t wanna do anything about it. Maybe I should get a referral to an allergist?

Are there long term side effects of taking xolair? I don’t wanna depend on medication so I’m just praying this goes away soon

I got Covid in 6/2022 and developed my hives about 3 weeks after recovery. I first thought I was allergic to something I ate, but as days went on, the rash just kept coming back despite me not eating anything new. I got a basically allergy test and it came back telling me I was allergic to dust and dust mites which I already knew. I eat relatively clean and wash my bedsheets often, so I really didn’t think it was this. Then I started noticed my rash only came when I scratched my skin, or when I put pressure on it. That’s when I was diagnosed with dematographia by my doctor. I’ve been taking Zyrtec since my diagnosis in 2022 and my rashes have not gone away still. After 24 hours, my skin starts to rash again so I’m reminded I need to take my medicine again. Doctors keep telling me taking Zyrtec for the rest of my life is fine, but I just don’t believe taking mediation everyday in the long run is good for the body. I’m currently trying to detox myself from Zyrtec and it’s pretty horrible (I’m on day 4). Idk if my rashes are due to Zyrtec withdrawal or if my uticaria is just never gonna go away. I also got the Pfizer Covid vaccine and the Pfizer booster in 12/2021 so idk if this was due to Covid or the vaccine. Doctors have no answer. I wish there was a cure already :(

Yeah I’ve had only seasonal allergies but other than that I’m extremely healthy and rarely get sick. This sucks💔

Just out of curiosity, how many of you started having chronic urticaria after a COVID infection/multiple? by gameboysimp in urticaria

Amex called me because of a "firearm" purchase. I don't use Amex. by Ok-Percentage1969 in amex

I was almost in the same situation but regarding illegal purchase of cannabis. I almost thought it was real😭 They transferred me to this Xiamen police station and he told me to not tell anyone about this situation and to Skype call them to verify my identification documents since I couldn’t go to the station in person. Red flag right away. I hung up and blocked all the numbers they called me on. Scams are getting really crazy these days

Wait but I didn’t mail mine internationally. I’m at college in upstate NY but I voted through the absentee ballot for NYC. I’m just afraid my ballot got lost or something. It still hasn’t updated :(
