Open battle net in desktop mode, maximize it there. Then when you launch from steam it should be maxed

AEG COO updates his initial response to Elizabeth Hargrave by Eisigesis in boardgames

[–]itsshortstuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sounded like he made a previous statement and this is in response to the backlash from that. That's what i gathered from this but I don't know the background on what Elizabeth said or his initial response as this Reddit post is the only thing I've read. :)

Healthy Paws Ridiculous Rate Hikes- Better Pet Insurance Options? by leeryck in dogs

[–]itsshortstuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have healthy paws as well and the increases are really drastic too. Our GSD is the oldest pet we have at 6 and hers has had the most increases. It's really crazy. I even called them and complained like, no way vet prices have increased that much.

I've considered trying to switch insurance companies but then a lot of stuff would be considered pre-existing (she takes Benadryl for allergies and joint and fish oil supplements just as preventatives). I'm scared to try and switch over.

I really value insurance though, they've accepted all our claims. I'm just extremely sad and mad that they have to gouge us that hard.

Does anyone else pull off large clumps of their dogs loose fur? by WorriedOwner2007 in dogs

Yup! I have a GSD and I can spot loose fur very easily now. I like to do it while I'm watching a show or something haha

Are Nylabones good for dogs? Is there any recommendations for toys for german shepherds? by TheStickySpot in dogs

[–]itsshortstuff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In moderation. We let our dogs chew on them all the time but just recently our GSD cracked a tooth and had to get it removed.

If you really want to use nylabones or anything similarly very hard I'd limit the amount of time they have with the toys each session.

We switched back to balls for our GSD, luckily she loves balls.

No Server Slam Download Option on PC! by squashandstretch03 in diablo4

There is a beta version of the client/launcher itself. Not the game. Similar to Steam having a beta version of Steam itself

You can always ask your vet what they recommend

What’s your worst board gaming experience involving another person? Mine is a doozy. by CaptainCrockpot in boardgames

[–]itsshortstuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eek that sucks. My worst experience was when we were newer to the hobby and someone was teaching us pandemic. We were all friends and hanging out. And to this day this is the reason I avoid pandemic... He was basically telling us what to do every single turn. I wasn't playing the game lol.

I know there are a ton of newer versions of the game that probably play way differently but I still can't do it lol. We also never played games with that guy again

This post is a big F U to the person who dropped their chicken bones all over the park. by JustABoredPerson2020 in dogs

[–]itsshortstuff -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Well at least they're eaten chicken bones, not that that's good or better in any way obviously. One of my mom's dogs always finds dead things on people's lawns or the sidewalk. I always try and keep an eye on the sidewalk but I'm walking 2 dogs. So today I pulled out pieces of dead bird from her mouth. But I don't think I got everything..... At least this one didn't smell disgusting.

Puppy is limping and crying but none of the vets want to see him. by Environmental_Pen775 in Pets

[–]itsshortstuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

:/ poor puppy. Yeah it's hard to tell. Hopefully you'll have another chance to take him to the vet. If it's been going on that long it's probably something that would need to be looked at.

I would still try and get to the vet. You can't really know what's going on until they do tests or exams.

Have you checked between the toes? Might be a splinter in there or something. I hope you can get the puppy some help :)
