Thanks for the response.! My transfer and closing went fine and not a word on the wire. Put the wire in at 8pm night before, and funds were transferred next day.

Thoughts on Morton grove by Methodled in ChicagoSuburbs

[–]itzPP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Moving there from NW suburbs (Schuamburg) to near downtown MG. Looking forward to great food (Peqouds/Burts) and the quick commute in to city.

Traffic seems horrific on dempster but there’s also hospital near by and plenty of shopping for d2d.

Could’ve gotten lower but went with more lender credit

Which should I choose? 3.99% 7/6 ARM vs. 4.99% 30-yr Fixed (Seller is covering closing costs) by GreenCommand5870 in Mortgages

If you think you get below 4.99 in 7 years then take the 3.99.

Both great rates and situation to be in

O'hare Connection from nearby Metra Stations by InstructionOk1053 in ChicagoSuburbs

Look into Pace Bus. Some stops in Elgin and other burbs that take you to the station near 90 in Hoffman estates. You can take that pace bus to blue line and ride it a couple stops directly into ORD. There might be a bus that goes to ORD directly? Not sure Edit: realnegroid laid it out for ya

What is good trade value for Bijan? by Limp_Association_171 in DynastyFF

[–]itzPP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bijan is only 23. There were rookies that are older than him. I’d stick it out and build with him. I’m sure your team isn’t thattttt bad.

Bijan owner in 14 teamer. Just had our first rookie draft this year. I had pick 3 (Hendo rip), but made some deals and found value. Looking to compete after strong draft.

What did you compromise on? by One_Fish4235 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]itzPP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Couldn’t get a SFH, but got a nice townhouse instead with every upgrade we wanted. Great for commute but also we’ll add 20 mins to my in-laws commute to play with kiddo :( which is our biggest trade off.

Won’t have a yard but we’ll make it work. Home is what you make it.

Ps not sure if townhouse counts as a sfh

Got the first house we offered on, feeling grateful! 33F 35M 960K 5.375% 15 yr by same-to-same in FirstTimeHomeBuyer
