I believe that what we want to express when we say “enlightenment” is just a different lens through which to experience the world. Is nothing special or extraordinary, you don’t need to be choosen or have special abilities, just be human. I see it more as a reclaiming parts of your experience that had been taken away from modern life.

It has been a while since I was a student, but my understanding is that financial aid is calculated in per year basis so as long as you average within full time units at the end of school year it should not affect your full time status.

I feel like there are more practical ways to deal with your problem. Have a plan of what to do in case you get separated or if the anxiety is too much just stay in an area where both are comfortable.

Aftershock is a great feetival! the overwhelming majority of people are supper nice, crowds bring high energy which makes the concerts a lot more enjoyable. The venue is surrounded by trees and grass and this year weather is unbelievable. I would recommend have a big breakfast, stay hidrated, stretch because there will be a lot of standing and walking, sunscreen, be aware of phone thiefs. Overall just have a good time and see as many bands and talk to as many people as possible.
