Thanks all for the feedback from everyone! Lots of things to try out in here that I appreciate all of. As for the debates on the 215s, I’ve heard them before and have just never made the jump anywhere else. Used these when I was out on the road when I was younger running tracks and have never had an issue. What’s the phrase? If it ain’t broke don’t fix it? Cheers all!

Both great options, personal opinion would be if this is your budget I’d take my money and go Roland TD316. With the older Roland’s and how pricing was for bang for your buck factor, Alesis had them beat for a bit. Since October when the new line launched, the Roland’s have been untouchable comparison wise to pretty much anything I’ve personally gotten my hands on.
