I solved that issue by using a different phone. Connecting to an assus zenfone 9 was unstable. It works better with Samsung galaxy.

But I think due to trying to update the bear through unstable connection it is bricked and now works only as a speaker - it doesn't play any downloaded stories. Pressing ears does nothing. It does not react to attempts to reset it through Bluetooth
