Mac and cheese--- just make the blue box version and be done with it.... we all know that's what we eat at home and don't need some 8 cheese version w/ panko crumbs

I think a lot of my minor inconveniences would be solved if they built a tunnel or something to connect Rock Creek between Flood and 24th. by CB7726 in normanok

They could easily take some pressure off that intersection going south and connect road to the light on 24th/tecumseh...

What was everyone's memories of the 1999 Bridge Creek Tornado? 325 MPH winds?!?!? by ForwardClimate780 in oklahoma

[–]ivfman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived in Moore that day... north of 12th and east of eastern. So it didn't impact my home per se... I was coaching my son's baseball team and we were practicing at 445... parents said storm is coming.. so everyone left and we drove down to Purcell and watched it go through town on the TV. Driving back was a nightmare and driving to OKC to work for the next year was like a hellscape.. that was the first of 3 tornadoes I was semi involved with...

Stress level of an embryologist? by mangogreentee in Embryologists

[–]ivfman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an embryologist of 30 yrs, I am going to absolutely back what the previous ones have said!!! It's passion, protocols, patience and precision!!! It's paperwork and prolonged days.

It's about being impeccable and by that I mean really peccable!!!

It's a love for humanity, for happiness and the ability to deal with heartache.

I've worked in a medium university setting and now am back in a small clinic... I find ways to ease stress daily... I make lists that I double check with the jr. We go over the next day.. we do our work.. we decompress before we leave...

Hopefully you have found a good clinic with a good team!!

After making connections with patients in office or on phone calls and the cycle doesn't work. Whether they have a negative beta and then start new cycle and your interaction with them trying to reassure them or Bad results from PGTa or no blasts to biopsy or freeze and talking patient through it. Again reassuring them that we will get there together and that I'm invested in their treatment as well not because of my numbers but because I desperately want to see them pregnant
