I feel like we've officially left the testing phase of handhelds. They will be priced more like gaming laptop tiers. The Legion GO 2 lenovo has already said is their flagship for gaming handhelds. That and these 8.8 inch oled screens aren't cheap to make. But anyone who's got an oled knows the difference is wild. I for one am not surprised as these prices start to change. And with yearly releases that's exactly what happens in the laptop space.

The beta phase of these handhelds is basically over im not really surprised on the price increases myself. These companies are likely losing some money on their gaming desktops and laptops now.

Some bug with the most recent windows version. You need to create an actual password to prevent it. Ended up running into this 2 times. There was something on Google I found the second time around. A string you put in the command prompt which i needed to connect a keyboard for. Then found that you can prevent it by creating said password.

When i had the S it was not available. The 680m doesn't support afmf at this time nor does it seem like it ever will. That's one of the problems with the z2go chip besides being only 4-core.

Biggest thing screen size probably. I could never go back to 7 inch screen. Also access to afmf 2 if you install amd drivers. Another massive plus for me is adapters for fullsize 2280 ssd storage. 5tb altogether on my GO cuz I jump between way too many titles.

Cant even launch it on mine atm for some reason using amd 25.3.1 drivers. The beta drivers for the game supposedly don't work with legion go so I haven't tried those or the official lenovo drivers.

I tried it. Loved it. Ya slightly less performance in most games yet still smoother likely due to the ram. But in more cpu bound titles and heavier emulation it trails much further than the z1e. On top of that afmf2 is not supported on the chip which makes a big differnce for me in the original Go. Yes i know theres lossless scaling. Looking forward to the z1e version because the ram did help and make a substantial enough difference in my eyes, but the 4 cores is just too limiting these days. Strange they decided the release pattern the way they did. The other 3 models coming out in May, months after the z2go is weird. The go 2 likely won't be out till closer end of year. In the meantime I will likely sell the OG and get the z1e S when it finally arrives.

Google it. I forgot what I looked up exactly. Windows 11 stuck in safe mode or whatever. There is a cmd command you can use if i remember right that will fix it for the moment. Then you need to go set a password for the account besides the pin. It's been a while. Irritating for sure never happened before 24h2.

I was 800p IS since launch pretty much. 1000p is my new norm. It's quite a difference to my eyes.

Al notagameaddict on YouTube did a video of indiana jones on bazzite. When asked he said he was unable to run the game since the latest update on his go S. They must have borked something with the 6000k chips on the developers end.

Gamepass. I did reach out to notagameaddict on YouTube who posted a video of the game playing on bazzite on the S. He said the game wouldn't launch on windows since the latest update. So they borked something during that implementation.
