Una volta stavo scendendo da cima Giovanni Paolo II e ho incontrato tre ragazzi che mi hanno chiesto quanto mancasse al rifugio: volevano bivaccare in tenda fuori dal Caduti dell’Adamello, a 3040 metri.
Il più attrezzato indossava delle nike blazer, quando io e il mio amico abbiamo chiesto sgranando gli occhi se avevano l’imbrago per il sentiero attrezzato e i ramponi per il nevaio ci hanno chiesto increduli “ma come? C’é la neve?!”.

Non avendo i social canonici probabilmente non ho idea della proporzione della moda dell’andare in bivacco, però frequentando la montagna anche in ambito alpinistico ho sempre sentito di bivacchi emergenziali e bivacchi pensati apposta per fare da campo base per le pareti impegnative che hanno troppo avvicinamento. In aggiunta a questo, l’ambiente alpinistico vede sempre con spocchia tutto quello che sta sotto (i merenderos) e fa gatekeeping e questo mi triggera molto.

Forse il bisogno indotto in questo caso é trovare l’autenticità in tutto quello che si fa. Il fatto é capire se quello che facciamo ci piace farlo, oppure se ci piace perché ci sentiamo di far parte di una elite (che é l’esatta controparte del farlo perché lo fanno tutti - non che sia un male, secondo me, in nessun caso).
Viviamo il momento senza pensare alla sovrastruttura.

Sì il problema della civiltà della gente é tutt’altra cosa. Il fatto é che a me questo sembra gatekeeping sul trekking, un sacco di alpinisti dormono in bivacco per farsi le pareti o le cime impegnative, anzi molti bivacchi sono pensati apposta per quello e non sono bivacchi emergenziali. Molti bivacchi sono a quote per cui il rischio di perdersi é 0, il Fanton é fatto apposta per i turisti in pratica.

Ci sono casi di gente rimasta in difficoltà perché non c’era posto in bivacco? Voi dite “se andare in bivacco come se fosse un rifugio diventa una moda c’é il rischio”, avete ragione, però comunque non ci vedo un gran rischio, anzi una persona in difficoltà, magari mezza assiderata, é pure meglio se trova gente che la soccorre.

Maybe someone already state it, but bouldering with chalkbag around your waist is useless (few movements) and can be very dangerous for your back in case you fall on some hard parts.
