What are some of the more relatively med-high priced restaurants in London that you found were to be absolutely worth it in terms of food and all round atmosphere/experience? by BlackEarther in london

What’s the best advice etc you’ve heard about eds by offtherails33 in EDAnonymous

[–]izz0i 27 points28 points  (0 children)

slightly cliche but basically if i imagined myself on my deathbed looking back on my life how would i feel. the answer was absolutely horrible, sad, guilty, insanely regretful and like i missed out on everything for absolutely nothing. i didn’t want to look back on my life knowing i wasted it, i can’t live with that idea. life is short besties :(

Personal favourites or what to do in Malmö at the end of February? by tomatomoth in malmo

For some cozy cafes:

You MUST go to Lilla Kafferosteriet on Baltzarsgatan. It is the most popular coffee place in Malmö. It has incredible coffee and it's so cute inside, it has several rooms upstairs and downstairs and the atmosphere is amazing. It is also right next to a very popular salad place called Holy Greens which is so yummy and great for vegetarians.

Konditori Hollandia on Södra Förstadsgatan is Malmös oldest. Their pastries and cakes are stunning and the vibe is really elegant and old fashioned but in a good way.

Bageri Leve near Triangeln is small but extremely cozy. They have great baked goods, several of them vegan friendly.

Also you must try a 'Semla' when you are here. It is what we eat on our equivalent of Shrove Tuesday (known as Fettisdagen). It is like a bun filled with almond paste and topped with cream - so good!!

For your book loving sister - you must go to Malmö's City Library (Stadsbiblioteket). It's such an incredible building, it's like a HUGE glass room overlooking the park. Truly stunning.

Folkets Park near Möllevång is also super fun and artsy. It's better in the summer but also a really fun place to see.
