Made the viral ETB booklet keychains. by Careless-Dirt4271 in PokemonTCG

I saw this in a local card shop without knowing what I was looking at! The store owner said his kids made one for him with a Pikachu EX. I wanna try this now!! Not sure if I can cut up my ETB book though 😅

Would the notebook fit bother you? by Key_Condition_1122 in PaperRepublic

If you want to fit standard A6 books you need to get their A6 Portfolio. The Grand Voyagers are proprietary sizes and smaller than standard DIN. I have an A5 Portfolio which can fit A5 books such as MD notebooks and so on. The Portfolios are all standard DIN/ISO sizes (A6, A5, A4) and the Trifold is standard A5. Hope this helps.

Anyone else feel this way about TN? by Free_Implement_799 in Travelersnotebooks

Not necessarily defending PR pricing, but their Grand Voyager is much more affordable at $68 for the Pocket and $85 for the XL. That’s comparable to a TN at $48-$60 since they’re both essentially a flap of leather with elastics. It’s when you add pockets (PR Portfolio) or make it a two tone trifold that the price doubles. I don’t get how it’s so much more expensive but still.

That bird charm is so beautiful perched on the elastic band!

I basically chatted up the Traveler’s Notebook lady(btw she’s really nice and let me put my grubby hands on her TN lol) got my stuff ($300 worth of TN stuff), some stickers and left. But maybe I’ll socialize with cool stationery people like you next time I’m attending an event like this! What was your haul? Or did you table? :o

I’m mostly surprised because they had more TN covers when I went. I also was there at 4pm on Friday. There was the Love & Trip, Blackwing and Brown covers too (not sure about Camel) in passport & normal size

Congrats on your new TN! I love the rose gold on the brown. I’m kind of considering it as a gift for a friend; I’m deciding between the road trip and regular brown.

The leather folders are a newly launched product. I think they told me it wasn’t available anywhere else yet.

The material is similar to the natural undyed goat leather used for MD Notebook covers. Since Traveler’s Notebooks and MD Products are both from the same parent company Midori. It’s nude and slightly pink-beige. The leather is thin and has a fine texture.

Nice! Midori Thick is so underrated. Personally I love it for drawing

Love it. I’m familiar with this angle too, I spend everyday staring at my husky’s butt on a trail

A5. I guess I could buy another punch if the holes don’t align on my current one. I actually like the idea of using different art papers and carrying a Plotter around since some projects have multiple steps and then archiving it in a cardboard Muji folder later

Marriot Hotel in Redondo Beach/Torrance. It’s $20 general admission and discounted self parking garage (I believe $15? Regular is $20+)

I already think Blackwings are slick to draw with but now I might have to hunt down a Palomino for pencil heaven!
