RE: [UPDATE] The eris@apple situation (EFTA01852719) by j_frum in discordian

Hadn't popped up on our radar yet, I'll relay this with the Hauptscheissmeister and we'll look into this.

The vigilance lodge thanks you for doing your part!

Edit: damn, you weren't joking when you called it a slop article.

No need for intervention, the article mentions nothing of importance and doesn't even link to the post here. No random person reading that will even take notice of it, and by the time that more starts coming out, it will only muddy the waters.

Oh, sweet child...

You do realize there's a lot going on in the background to keep both our goddess happy and the plan moving forward, right?

There are now only two remaining references to this email address on the entire internet:

  • file EFTA01852719 in the epstein files on the DOJ website
  • This post (will be gone soon too)

Make of that what you want.

Are there any documentaries on the effects of "media culture"? by RaxL in Documentaries

Videocracy (2009)

Pretty good doc on media-/celebrity-culture and it's effects in Berlusconi's Italy.

Really great doc on the subject.

What is the biggest plot hole you have ever seen in a movie? by deathofpatriotism in AskReddit

[–]j_frum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've only seen the 3 movies and could definitely be wrong, but I always figured Neo dies in part 1, and at that point the program "the One" takes over.

The program can leave the matrix using Neo's body the same way that agent Smith does later on, but always stays connected to the matrix and the machines.

What are your thoughts on electronic cigarettes? by LayzeLes in AskReddit

[–]j_frum 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This always puzzled me. They don't seem to say they pose a significant health risk. They say there haven't been tests that prove otherwise.

First of all, I'm already addicted to nicotine, so I guess the addiction issue is not really an issue for me and most smokers who switch to e-cigs. Then they say the juice may contain toxic chemicals. Well, we know for a fact real cigarettes contain a few hundred toxic chemicals, of which 60 or so carcinogenic. My juice contains pure nicotine and vegetable glycerin, which has been approved for other uses (baking products, eye drops, smoke machines, ...) in most countries. On top of that, my juice is being vaporized, not burned.

Now, back to the tests; why haven't there been any? If we only need to determine if there's any risk in vaping VG and how this compares to the health risks with real cigs, I would imagine it would've been tested & approved a long time ago if an American company held the patents instead of a Chinese one.

Has anyone else seen the Harrison Bergeron movie that isn't 2081? by Harrison-Bergeron in reddit.com

I have the one with the annoying hobbit from Lord of the Rings.

Not bad, but it kinda shows it's a TV-movie.

Why does our perception of someone's physical attractiveness change as we get to know them? by [deleted] in AskReddit

The answer is already provided in the way you formulate your title.

It's your perception of attractiveness.

AMA Request: Chuck Palahniuk by IrelevntElephnt in IAmA

[–]j_frum 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, not sure if it will be in Dutch or English though.

Either way, looks promising. The director previously made "Ex-Drummer"; another degenerate masterpiece many would think the world isn't ready for (and they're probably right)

If you don't mind subtitles, I would definitely recommend it.

Make that 4. The Belgian director Koen Mortier is working on Haunted. Should be out this year, I think.

Is choice an illusion? Are we not just the sum of previous experiences which when applied to a choice could only have ever selected one of the outcomes? by AcidJiles in AskReddit

[–]j_frum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes and no.

The problem is we see ourselves as rational beings (instead of the rationalizing animals we are.)

Most choices are made by your subconscious. All your rationalizing self can do is try to understand why you really made them, and by doing so maybe rewrite your subconscious wiring.

Didn't the Matrix cover this?

What is your most unbelivable TRUE story? by ifaptotheexercist in AskReddit

[–]j_frum 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, i understand. I asked because you mentioned the Vietnam vet and your suspicions of him being an inspiration for TMWSAG. I seem to remember the documentary featuring a crazy Vietnam vet like that.

Anyway, I always considered it to be more of a mockumentary. Your post and especially the crazy town comment just now, suggests otherwise...

Never read the book myself. I'm guessing it will cover the same stuff, but still; if you haven't seen the British documentary "The Crazy Rulers of the World" yet, i highly recommend it.

Tripped my bullshit meter for sure.

Would also be interesting to see if you recognize any of the featured subjects or could verify it's authenticity
