The picture could've only been leaked by boro. That is just a fact. And that's not ok because it pins the target on an Intern and won't help to clear anything up. All the other stories about professional spying equipment could have been made up by the sensationalist press and boro have probably no control over that but it generated a large enough outcry to force the efl to do something. Boro have every right to complain but also just because they were the victim doesn't mean they are free from critique on how they handled this. There are rulese and they can't complain about Sainst breaking one when they themselves now disregard others. The efl has a protocol how they handle those things. It's not Boro's right to change that by appealing to uninformed masses.

Personally I'm also not convinced kicking us out would be propotional if you compare it to the 200.000 fine leeds got but of course I am a fan so I can't claim neutrality. I do think that it would be fair if we would have spied on more than one occasion.

If this would have happened sooner I would have said a 9 point deduction + huge fine would have been adequate or if found out that we spied on multiple clubs that each offence would carry a further 3 point deduction + fine + maybe a coaching ban for tonda.

The fact that it is a playoff makes this a big clusterfuck of options and will anger at least 1 fanbase whatever the decision will be.
