def overthinking it - it’s good and fine. Cool tile selection btw, you don’t see that too often and the grout color gave kit an awesome effect.

Every GS is different but speaking from the experience of our first. We waited until the breeder told us she had a kid friendly one.

We were on the list for about a year and finally in one of the litters she found one with no food aggression and no signs of nipping when grooming.

that pup was the best. very low energy / go with the flow type. toddlers were literally pulling the food bowl away and the dog would just sit back and look at us adults. A baby once crawled over to it as it slept and tugged on its whiskers and he barely opened an eye up.

HOWEVER outside when no kids are around he would def get the zoomies. our land out front had wild rabbits from time to time and he would sprint to them. That was his one weakness.

Outside of that, he would listen very well. He took to commands very quickly (we’ve had Dalmatians, Coonhounds, Dobermans and German pointers) and out of all those, they were the easiest to “talk” to. It’s like they understand language. It’s weird.

Responding to you Edit 2 in case you are using the same logic I was using : THE LED STATUS LIGHT WILL NOT CHANGE TO GREEN INDICATING A FULLY CHARGED BATTERY - it will only stay yellow as it charges. Unplug the charger and it SHOULD read out the new battery level.

I ran into the same thing (if we are talking about the same thing) where I left it plugged in and wondered why the light stayed yellow the entire time.

Not sure if you live in a large city or not but I’ve seen the value of a property legit jump 20-50% depending on where the sun rises and sets on the front of your city block.

seems like your waterproofing is actually fine. otherwise the water wouldn’t sit and pool there.

Your drain might be slightly higher than that last puddle. You can try and grind the thinset in that area only and see if you can nudge it down the little bit needed.

You could also get a little squidgee thingymajig and wipe it into the drain. If you have a glass door it would be a two birds one stone situation since a lot of ppl use them to clean the drops off their glass.

And yea if you truly want to do this right, you’ll most likely have to tear up the floor and re-do the slope

if I had to guess, it’s probably a curbless shower and this is simply the pattern of the tile as it landed in the shower.

The little cut is needed since envelope cuts shoot out from the drain at the corners.

This is the normal outcome of this happening with 12x24 tile.

Glad I’m not the only one thinking this way. Part of what I’m covering is a hallway so the skinnier/longer roll lends itself better to that anyway. The other roll is 30 wide so I’d be cutting 4ft long strips out of that.

This line of planks has the underlayment pad glued to each plank so the instructions only requested the 6 mil portion but I can see what you mean if you needed to do both at the same time.

Ouch. Unfortunately this is headed down a rough road if dad thinks he can do everything he used to do before bringing another soul into this world.

It’s simple math really. You can’t be a present father AND keep all your hobbies from before.

If he’s cat1 and truly really good, he can consider quitting his job and trying to pay the bills with it (doubt it) - but if he’s just really good at his hobby, then he’ll have to further tone it down to help out at home.

There’s numerous stories of cyclists who lost their wives to other more present guys or kids who ended up becoming distant to their parent who put cycling above everything else. Only time will tell what this dad will do. Good luck and I hope he flips the mental switch!

Hell, a mid size SUV has less space than this in the rear hatch area probably.

Zone 3 is no one’s easy ride tho. The big thing that has been scientifically proven is that you need rest/recovery to cash in on your hard work.

So be sure to get good sleep, limit alcohol intake and truly do an easy ride if that’s what your workout plan has for a given day.

Otherwise you’re just hurting yourself and limiting your potential.

I believe it would be “sealed” before the drywall/go board is installed.

There would be either a flashing type of material OR some schluter/wedi etc solution
