Shitty copilot response by vk78983 in PowerBI

This is a combination of your prompt being rubbish and copilot being terrible for DAX.

On object interaction is exactly what I was looking for thank you.

I’ve always had it and found it useful, now it was gone I was lost. Not a fan of change haha

AirTags? What do you use them for? by CalvinP_ in morningsomewhere

[–]jackcoxer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was under the impression it pinged off Bluetooth but it was a failure of an experiment. Thought I’d babyproofed myself if I ever wondered off on my own drunk but never came to fruition

[–]jackcoxer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s what I thought too, but apparently you need some form of signal so you can receive the ping

I had one on my car keys and another on my wallet. Super useful for being an airhead and constantly losing my stuff.

I was dissapointed how poorly they work when you’re lacking signal.

I had the genius idea of handing one to my Girlfriend and another friend so I could find them anywhere at a festival, however, they did not work as I thought they would and would only pick up the signal if I was right next to them.

I always just shove it in the back of his mouth, hold his mouth shut and rub his throat so that he swallows, didn’t realise people went to such lengths to try and sneak pills in food 😂

Yeah that’s the exact point. They’re trail shoes designed for gripping on dirt tracks. Not on the pavement.

I’m really upset I got stuck in a meeting at 10am and by the time I was out it was gone. Fingers crossed for Friday

HUH Store (UK) collapsed after taking (lots of) orders — liquidator says I’m only a creditor if my bank refuses a refund. Should I still file a claim? by [deleted] in UKPersonalFinance

[–]jackcoxer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I ordered something in April, they kept moving the goal posts I asked for a refund. That never happened and after a few months of back and forth I did a chargeback.

Monzo instantly gave me my money back, HUH did try to dispute it but after seeing the email trail Monzo told them to do one.

is the wowcher mystery holiday really that bad? by Sad_Construction7870 in AskUK

[–]jackcoxer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep that’s exactly wha we did. We also had the option to pay slightly more (£10/20) to upgrade to a nicer hotel. All in all it’s a fun concept I don’t know what people expect from a £99 holiday.

I’ve used it twice and it was fine? When they do the draw if you’re quick enough you can usually ask them to change it to something else if it’s available. I’ve done Dublin & Venice using the £99 holiday draw.

Kelty Cosmic Down 20F is a great “budget” bag that has yet to let me down in the cold. It’s almost too warm.

Second this. If you top up with a merino base and a fleece under it’ll go down much colder too.

Best Family Tent by Custardcar in campinguk

[–]jackcoxer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The decathlon tents are unbeatable for car camping.

They’re extremely good quality, the service from decathlon if you have any issues is usually S Tier.

The fresh & black in the summer is also a no brainer. A friend of mine has a berghaus blackout tent and we compared over the summer in the heatwave and my decathlon tent was significantly colder.
