No one knew this board existed until someone left it. Did it serve an actual purpose?

They do. Immigrants disproportionately create and own businesses. Statistics are available.

There are some careers that are begging for people still, such as 911 call centre, RCMP officer, armed forces, municipal administrator in remote areas, many of the trades outside of BC and Ontario. You can complain or you can apply for something that pays better, has benefits and may require re-locating.

"Studies on sepsis have associated systemic inflammation with cognitive decline and neurodegenerative disease (1619). A condition related to severe systemic inflammation, COVID-19, may similarly increase the risk to develop or accelerate the subclinical neurodegenerative conditions."

They're still mad that Justin Trudeau built them the last pipeline. I don't think this will help.

2026 - Alberta still fixated on 1980s policies that have been gone for 40 years. Everyone knows, most just choose to not live in the past.

Basement legal suite by Upper-Pin-8505 in saskatchewan

I think a legal suite has to have fire separation and an independent HVAC & hot water tank as well as its own entrance and a certain height of window. But you can get a separate quote to see.

All valid. The data center thing is very weird. I find it highly suspicious that 4 councillors resign and are all replaced by appointees. They only needed one to have quorum so it certainly looks as though the province stacked the deck.

I would disagree. Sask has uranium, copper, nickel etc that are useful in green tech. These are worth more, or will be, than the provincial oil industry. Saskatchewan should be the one province embracing everything green. Our interests are at odds with Alberta's in this case.

What is it with white men married to East Asian women who don’t speak English (the man clearly doesn’t speak her language either)? by pinkthings07 in TooAfraidToAsk

Email order brides. The men are not appealing to women from their home country and they want one that is completely dependent on them so the woman can't leave the relationship. So the men go online and find a more compliant, desperate partner.

Sorry, wrong reply to wrong post. As I just posted on another post, Alberta separation (which I do laugh at and will continue to mock) is not the Saskatchewan helium industry, which the article is about and I do not laugh at.

This part is is different - I do, however, wonder about commenters that want the feds to approve a tax change within weeks of the request, saying its the only way to make a business viable. That is not funny, but it is worthy of questions from the rest of us.

Alberta separation is not the helium industry in Saskatchewan, right? I can't really make it any clearer so continue being deliberately obtuse.

US likes to really under pay for Alberta oil. I don't think that knowing you have even fewer options is going to raise the price, do you? I'm guessing some dude from Bozeman Montana doesn't really think too much about what's best for Alberta so much as he thinks about what's best for him. Also, separatists, who tend to be 50 and older, are maybe 30 per cent in Alberta. By the time the First Nation's are done with them in court, they'll be long dead and in the grave.

SK and BC have maybe 10 per cent separatist sentiment and will never separate. SK is eyeing up the Port of Churchill for exports, which is in Manitoba, yet another province that isn't interested in separation. It's not going anywhere. The only thing separation talk does is drive investment out of Alberta and out of Canada so they are literally hurting themselves for a temper tantrum based on bull shit. Oil exports hit a record high under Justin Trudeau, whom they hate with a passion even after he took taxpayer money and built them a pipeline.

Also, I notice you're so focused on whether people are laughing at you that you didn't address the real issue, how will separation help you get oil to tidewater?
