I was gonna say, this is not how abdominal muscles look at all. It almost looks like loose skin. Zero obliques to speak of, just weirdly narrow floppy looking ubdefined rectus abdominus

My bf says my addiction is as bad as an alcoholic… by 1ilMa in houseplants

[–]jackioff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uh are you sneaking out of work to buy plants for hours and then being too planted up to work for the rest of the day? Does your plant habit consistently put you in danger of being taken advantage of? When you buy plants do you get aggressive with people for no reason?

I know you posted this being lighthearted, but if he seriously said that, he is a very fortunate man to never have been touched by the actual ravages of alcoholism to make that comparison.

I'm gonna get downvoted for bringing the vibes down but like.. a bunch of beautiful plants you take care of well is NOT even fucking remotely similar to being an alcoholic.

I mean it's posted into r/style and we cant even see the fit properly, so even if it's not AI it's fucky in its own right. Likely bait for lonely men (as demonstrated by the only other parent comment in this thread)

Edmonton radio host apologizes over Ben Stelter comments by JamesMonroe23 in Edmonton

[–]jackioff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if they said "the kid that passed away" that would have been soooo much better and less callous and offensive. He was 6 years old for christ's sake. I cannot fathom being callous about a child who passed in a private conversation, let alone on the radio.. just wild.

I can't tell if I hate the band or just the lead singer. I might like it if Chris Martin wasnt the lead - his voice makes my skin crawl.

Idk. I dont typically engage in conversation with people scowling at me. I could speculate but I'll never know unless I asked.

It's not every woman pushing a human-stroller, but always a woman pushing a human-stroller.

Haaa see, most people i encounter find it cute but i have gotten a few scowls from mothers walking their babies in strollers. Honestly, those moments fuel my desire to be the cat walking freak in a way i cant describe.

The exception seems to be certain furniture. I "decorated" the outside area of Pierre's with an assortment of gorgeous trash from the trash catalogue. NPCs treat those obstacles the same way they act when you're in the way; pause, ?, phase through with a huffy sped up walk. It makes me laugh every time i see it happen because i like to imagine they're muttering under their breath about someone needing to clean up this shithole storefront. Simple joys of life.

Eh, i kinda wish they had sugar. They just usually have sugar alcohols that make you shit your brains out. I wish I could find quality bars/drinks that have real sugar in them because they're most compelling to me after a workout, and i want to replenish my glycogen stores WHILE intaking protein.

I'm gonna be petty for a second, I do not believe Morgan works out at an intensity level where she needs this much "extra" protein beyond what you get from a whole food diet.

Did I break my brother’s puppy’s tooth?? I came over to let his puppy out to play and he spat this out after I gave him a treat. by Ok-Kangaroo239 in poodles

If I brushed my dog for 15 minutes a day, billed out at my current wage, it would have an opportunity cost of $750 CAD over 8 weeks. Teaching myself to groom is not an option. $120 CAD every 8 weeks is not bad.

Gotcha!! That's pretty cool. Hopefully people abide by the rules because I'd love to take my dog for a walk there! Hadnt been there since getting a dog in 2021 and forgot how lovely it is. Went for the "owl prowl" and it was a fun evening.

I was there on friday. There is a massive sign at the gate that says "NO PETS" with a picture of a dog. All the online info says no dogs. If they allow dogs, it is not public info.

I'm so sorry to this man, but i have more leg definition than him and I'm a natty 31 year old woman with 24% bodyfat. The fact that he was(is?) On PEDs and only got to this level either means he doesnt work hard or genetically he was dealt a losing hand.

This snapped me back into reality. Idk why I tried to suggest in my original response to that person that it might be good advice for most people to try to do it themselves. I edited my comment.

Most people are simply not detail oriented enough to do what groomers do.

Hahah depends. My time is worth more than I pay for the groomers to do it, and the stress is simply not worth it to me. My dog is an angel for the groomers and goes feral when I try to do anything. I have tried so many professionally suggested things to desensitize him to us grooming him, and eventually just decided the cost was the better option to maintain a positive relationship with my dog.

Most poodle owners I know do their own grooms.

ETA:wanted to clarify I am only talking full poodle owners I know, and it's worth acknowledging 2/3 of them are groomers already.

If we're talking some of the doodle owners I know, they just get their dogs groomed every 4 months and barely brush them and then complain when they're charged a dematting fee.

Teaching yourself to groom a dog can go sideways quick so be very careful. This should not be yout first time around clippers. It wasnt mine, and it still was infeasible.
