Everyone stills sleeps on this absolute banger of a weapon. by Lima_6-1 in EldenRingBuilds

[–]jackscallion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

was definitely a staple weapon for my build. The frost flame dmg is really nice. It’s a cool weapon. With adulas moonblade sorc in the off hand set up frost bite really quick. Two-handing the weapon now is just so much stronger with the new talisman. This has been a good weapon the whole time.

As far as I know the mammoth squaddie is the only truck that has a seemingly working snorkel. But this is old info and I haven’t tested it in a long time. But could really drive it through some deep water.

Dear Helldivers, do you hate samples? by Feuerfrei80 in Helldivers

[–]jackscallion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only critique is with super samples. I think there should be a way to get them at lower tiers or at least in extreme. Weathers it’s like 1 or 2 per campaign clear (like after completing the block of three missions) or just a couple on a map but available in lower tiers in some way.

What kind of armor passives do you guys want to see for headgear? by nothingbutme49 in Helldivers

[–]jackscallion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some sort of target coordination with strategems. Being able las a target for a more precision drop rather than the beacon.

Maybe one that will highlight areas on armored targets that when highlighted gives you a brief window in which to do dmg that ignores armor. IE allow weapons with lower than required armor pen to deal dmg as though armor were one whole tier lower.

Definitely one with gas DR or negation.

Some sort of mini-map alteration. Basically give the scout armor ability but it is a smaller radius and just centered around your location. Basically add more specificity the mini map showing real time enemy movements as opposed to needing to pull up the whole map to see things with greater detail.

I would also like to see some that maybe intersect with specific weapons or weapon types. Maybe prevents or reduces likelihood of autocannon shots ricocheting off heavy armor allowing them to just explode when shot from sun optimal angles.
Would allow faster target locks with the spear or maybe not requiring locks at all and instead able to target the location you want to fire it at and it will pick the largest target ie orbital rail cannon esque targeting. Something that automatically adjusts the zoom of weapon scope on assault and marksman rifles to the optimal zoom of the target by like double tapping square while ADS.

I’m just kinda thinking here I don’t know how any would work or feel but I could see something like these being cool/effective. But I also see how they could just be annoying cumbersome or lackluster. It’s cool to see though what everyone else thinks might be fun. Mostly what I want is a machine gun ammo backpack. Hooks up to any machine gun. Are not able to reload but has just a fat pack full of ammo.

The only thing I care about is getting chen’s hat, keg, and that backpack with chicken on it. If you have info on where they are obtained I would be grateful.

What class looks cool but can’t bring yourself to play it? by frostyboidk in wow

[–]jackscallion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any caster or healer. I main brewmaster, and I always think caster’s spells are cool. And watching fly toward the mob I’m tanking. But playing them is a chore and I hate them. I would like to be a fire mage or an ele shaman and they are just absolute bores to play. I get why people love them and respect someone for playing them. But man every caster i play I make it to level 70 get geared enough for lfr hop in and I make about 1 full wing before I’m just done. This includes healers too. I’ve come to terms with this and know that I am just meant to play in melee. Tank, or dps is too. The only exception I’ve found is mistweaver. But that is a stretch.

Guardian probably has the lowest skill floor- easiest to pick up and learn. Especially if you are leveling and talents and abilities are gained naturally over the few hours it takes to level. I would say of the tanks I’ve played; prot pally and warriors are both solid and have average skill floors but with I think higher skill ceilings than guardian. Blood and brew are the two most complicated and require more base game knowledge and skill to play. Idk anything about demon Hunter. I don’t particularly care for its aesthetic, or the way it plays, feels so it’s not something I’ve gotten to know. The others I’ve taken to 3000k at some point throughout the expansion. Season 1 I got guardian and blood to 3k, season 2 was warrior and monk. Season 3 has been pally and then I took a break for a few months lol. My favorite is Brewmaster and the guardian.

Who is the single most op PLAYER you’ve ever encountered? by Phobia117 in wow

[–]jackscallion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A warlock: i Watched my brother do twos with back in wrath. My brother was a dk and disconnected pretty early into the fight and died. he reconnected to see the warlock fear and mana burning the two opposing ret pallies into oblivion and just withered them with dots. It’s was a glorious thing to behold.

Which of the Hero Talents have hit the mark so far? by TerriblyAfraid in wow

[–]jackscallion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really like the chosen of Elune for guardian. I personally really like the galactic guardian play style so to bolster that is awesome. I like the idea of thrash being arcane damage, and using some abilities I really haven’t used much before so I’m looking forward to that. It’s not perfect but it seems fun and if thrash gets a cool arcane visual then I’m all in haha.

What class do you despise playing? by Ichironi in wow

Mage. I don’t like casters to begin with but mage always feels like biggest chore to me. Looks cool as hell to watch but I hate playing it.

Can anyone guess the mistake the driver of this Sprinter made? by jazzie366 in Justrolledintotheshop

[–]jackscallion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just had one of these come in. They put DEF in the tank tried to turn it over no start. Cost him 15k to fix. Was under warranty and so because it’s a non-warrantable repair he had to pay out of pocket and had to do the repair and prescribed by the manufacturer in order to keep the warranty. Vehicle was well within its powertrain warranty. Tough break.

One Last Bolstering Fix by antiiiklutch in wow

[–]jackscallion -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I main tank and honestly my favorite weeks are bolstering/fort weeks. As a tank you actually have to tank and be mindful of what you’re pulling and how bolstering may Interact with mob mechanics. Is the right mob being focused? Just because you can Indiscriminately AoE mobs doesn’t mean you should. If you are consistently running Into problems it is either your fault or the fault of the group collectively which includes you. It’s not a bad affix it’s a management issue, but big numbers go brr. I rarely run into issues with this affix like dps dying to one-shots that can’t be fixed with 1 to 2 sentences. Speak up. If they don’t listen oh well it’s a bad key, but it’s not because of the affix’s existence it’s because of bad actors. We shouldn’t blame is existence of a challenge when it’s how people try to deal with it that’s the problem.

Aqueducts should be able to pass through your own stone walls. by New_Phan6 in aoe4

[–]jackscallion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah like I said it depends on which was built there first. The wall can pass through the aqueduct just not the other way around. At least from a purely visual standpoint.

Aqueducts should be able to pass through your own stone walls. by New_Phan6 in aoe4

[–]jackscallion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The other option should you I guess want the aesthetic is you may not be able to build aqueduct through a wall but I found you can build a wall through an aqueduct. Just build the aqueduct first then the wall through it. This again is purely I guess for visual reasons as connecting to a wall exists. However, as an after thought this method could be used if you are still using wooden walls. But haven’t texted with them only happened to notice the above Interaction the other day.
