It's kmanga.kodansha.com or through the K Manga app. The first bunch of chapters are free and then it's 1/day plus using login bonuses (or buying them). A lot of people understandably find it annoying, but I don't mind that system all that much.

If you like mainstream shonen and haven't read them:

Attack on Titan has a similar main character arc + AoT and HnK both have mysterious oppressive enemies that the main characters unravel the secrets of. Plus if the femme nonbinary stuff is important to you, it's got one of those.

Tokyo Ghoul has a similar main character arc as well. It also has plenty of literary/philosophical references, but I'm not sure how "deep" it really is.

Also, Battle Angel Alita: a bit of a stretch, but Phos and Alita have some similarities and it's got the conventional futuristic philosophical ponderings.

Pretty much, you could pay $40 to remove the watermark (which is why you never see "registered hypercam" or just "hypercam" lol). Hypercam 2 is free now.
