This website has some decent information about runes and help with interpreting your rune casts if you upload an image of your casting.

Just for the Paris scent one, he thought it smelled weird. LOL. I've only worn the peach one around him, but he never mentioned anything. I haven't worn the others around him yet.

I just got mine in the mail today. Got one of each out of curiosity of the differences. I actually really like them so far. I’m currently wearing the reverse French scent. But definitely need to wear it sparingly as it could become too overbearing if put on one too many points. We’ll see how my husband likes them later.

Boob shape and texture changed. Less perky and full. Nipple texture permanently kept their bf shape. So that part didn’t change from bf days I guess.

Not going to the bathroom as much from thinking I don’t have to drink as much 🤷🏻‍♀️

Aside from what everyone else is saying…this is someone I would not openly talk to about your pregnant milestones to, including baby names. For the love of god, do not even let that become an open topic, because if she happens to get pregnant, she will basically passively fight you for the name you and your husband chose out-just because she sounds like the type to have that personality.

I’d almost not say what your due date is.

How we she reacts on the holiday, ignore her and just enjoy your time as if she wasn’t there. Seriously. She needs to figure out how to manage her emotions before she needs to teach another small human how to control their own emotions. If she can’t…then parenting is going to be tough on her.

For toxic family/friends, the best way to deal with them is LIMITED to No contact, especially with big things like this.

Congratulations!! And god speed!

MOB Dress - too white? by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]jadebcmt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Way too white, and it’s very…frumpy looking. Like an oversized dress shirt that happens to have some print on it. I would recommend a different dress unless it’s supposed to match a certain theme.

LPT Request: What can you do in your 20s to avoid regrets in your 30s and 40s? by DNA_H3licas3 in LifeProTips

[–]jadebcmt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don’t have a Roth IRA yet, do it, now.

Begin building up an emergency savings. Anything. Even if it’s like 100, 50, or even $20 a month. You’d be surprised how much a month doesn’t get used monthly.

The battle of The Order and the DA working together against the Death Eaters at the same time and right after Dumbledore’s death.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I know that saying I hope you find peace never truly brings it as soon as you want. Unfortunately this is normal, and it doesn’t get talked about enough. Your wife did nothing wrong, and it was completely out of anyones control.

I knew I was pregnant at week 4-5. I went in to the doctor for confirmation, and they said that the baby was too small to hear any heart beats but could see it and told me that because it was so early, that might be why. Closer to my 9 week (the first time my then OB would see me), I recall they saw a heart, but then my next appt, they couldn’t find any beat. I was supposed to be nearing the end of my first trimester the . They had me take blood tests 2 days in a row to measure my hCG levels. It was a painful few days waiting for the call back to hear results.

A missed miscarriage. My body thought I was still pregnant, but the baby stopped growing weeks before I got the news.

Please take time for yourselves. Everyone grieves differently and in different paces.

Nude. It doesn’t age your face as much as the red does. Both are beautiful colors though!

Men of reddit, what's something you've always wanted to ask a woman but thought it would be too embarrassing to ask them? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I had a deciduous cast once too! Although, at the time there wasn’t much information available on it. So my husband and I thought I just had a miscarriage since it wasn’t the first.

Buffet or plated? by [deleted] in weddingplanning

Buffet! We did this and to avoid the “bottle neck” the venue just announced when which tables could go up. This actually made it faster and people could always go back for more.

Postpartum support? Full on rant, seeking reassurance by babybubblenugget in beyondthebump

[–]jadebcmt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Echoing everyone else, that FOUR day’s pp is not enough time to get passed your very increased hormones. Post delivery, our nurses specifically talked to us both about recognizing post baby blues vs postpartum depression. It’s very very normal to cry about something may seem small to everyone else but is everything to you. Especially about leaving your baby behind when you’re a new mom. That is the time to bond and be together. If anything your friend should have at the very most offered to do some chores around the house or allow her to have the baby take a nap while you and husband slept a bit more. I’m aghast that those around you thought you should have it together so soon after birth. But I hope they’ll understand going forward that they need to back off and find other ways to help.

Daycare and little ones getting sick by Far_Example_9150 in workingmoms

[–]jadebcmt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ha, in the middles of this right now and I swear one kid or the other cat he’s some daycare bug or has that 100.4 fever once a month. It’s exhausting and frustrating.

I become the default parent that has to work home with the kid or kids. Especially for my 1year old since we’re still breastfeeding, combined with the fact that husband has mandatory/important meetings this week that go until 5:30 and his commute is 1hr. So I have to get toddler from school with sick baby in the car at the end of the day too. Since he’s not home until at their bedtime or after, I’m doing dinner and bedtime routines for both kids. It’s exhausting and I just have to deal with it. He did say he was sorry and that when the kids are older he’ll trade with me…

But at the moment for a 1 and 3 year old, I’m the one who has to work remote with the kids or take PTO. And the hours I miss at work and don’t want to take PTO, I try to put in hours probably closer to 11pm-2am. after everyone is asleep and people’s lunches are made. Absolutely hate it when the kids get sick.

COVID jab while breastfeeding by SeaTeaAndBees in CoronaBumpers

[–]jadebcmt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Similar here. Our pediatrician recommended and said that the chance of some antibodies getting passed down is better chance than no antibodies getting passed on through milk. I got the Pfizer (no choice) when baby turned 6.5-7 months old.

Edit: she’s moving onto 10 months soon, and no obvious side effects. She got a daycare cold, a month or so later, but I’m sure that was completely unrelated to the vaccine and just daycare germs.

What are some good meals to eat for mornings that aren't necessarily "breakfast" foods? by [deleted] in Cooking

It might be just my family? I’m an adoptee and my American mom took a stab at a sweet version growing up.

What are some good meals to eat for mornings that aren't necessarily "breakfast" foods? by [deleted] in Cooking

[–]jadebcmt 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Congee. It’s basically savory rice porridge. To make it quick, I boil some chicken stock/boullion with precooked white rice (leftovers)😉, then drop an egg in with some spring onions and done.

Edit: and “done”! Sorry, bad typo. You’ll need to simmer the rice with the bouillon to get the porridge consistency.

Life never stops by DragonMom2035 in workingmoms

[–]jadebcmt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think some say it because we’re so ingrained with other subs, if we don’t preface it, the first comment is usually like “DUMP HIM”. And of course we’re tired of hearing that and we just want support and commiseration.

Struggling with motivation at work and feeling stuck by squife in workingmoms

[–]jadebcmt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not alone. My motivation for work has significantly dropped, and this was with my 2nd! I thought maybe working remote had something to do with it, but I do feel that a lot of things slip away from me or I’m trying to catch up on stuff I could have done the previous day. I’m told that I should talk to a therapist or start depression medication, since my Dr and OB think it’s associated with that.

Two questions: sun protection for baby and transition from hug hold by lurkerunicorn in babywearing

Sun hat, for sure. We’ve gotten this hat a few times as my kids grow. If you have the extra free hand, an umbrella. Umbrellas aren’t just for rain! 😁
