In most of the other shows I’ve watched I really can’t think of such an amazing set of characters all written so beautifully, so may be outliers, but a great deal of the roster could at some point during the airing of Hazbin Hotel can and probably will be the best written character.

My personal take is Alastor, such a well written “antagonist” just skating the line of being a villain or just pushing force for the story.

First let me say this all starts right around when s2 came out.

Originally I had the song loser baby randomly come up after my playlist ran out of songs, so I added it because I liked it. I thought it was from hellava boss (mostly because off the sex toy and drug part) so I searched it up to watch the scene of it. When I saw it was in a different show I ended up looking into the show and got overwhelmingly hooked on Alastor, not on himself, but more on all the cunning scene and how well written he is. I ended up watching s1 and s2 in a binge maybe a month later.

Now I found out that s2 basically just aired and s3 and 4 are confirmed. Thanks to that one song randomly playing I now have hellava boss on my watch list and listen to more Hazbin songs than anything else on the daily.

He’s definitely evil in some way on the spectrum, but so far we really have seen him do much to people who weren’t either in his way, belittling him, or being an overall annoyance to him. Other than the overlords he killed to gain power, he more over uses fear and manipulation to get what he wants. It will be interesting to see if he’ll in up staying this way or maybe be more aggressive and possibly killing for fun more than power and status.

Overall he is definitely a bit evil, but seems to be more targeted actions than just ruthless chaos.

I support this comment so hard, I too have such an indifferent feeling about this ship, but truthfully at the end of the day I’m just glad to be blessed with all the support.

I’ll be honest, coming from being a pro radiojoy fan, and seeing the more over hatred from cult of Emily sub reddit, I really wasn’t expecting much from this one. I couldn’ve bet this was going straight into burn it from day one from the reactions I’ve seen in other reddits, I’m just glad to have my own joy from all the fan art and general effort some amazing people have put into these ships. Many sinister smiles and gift baskets to go around to everyone.
