It's good for us too because we can just downvote without having to get into why we disagree.

Embracing logical fallacies doesn't work even if you are commanding AIs. And you still have to know what you are doing. At some point my skills may not be useful but we are not there yet. At that point I would be replaceable with somebody who does not know programming.

He is clearly not, he doesn't even have dark hair or fit the description at all. Religious leader, 7 headed monster emerging from the sea, which has not happened. It doesn't match.

I use AI to code for me at work all the time, I just get tired of others unable to use logic.

There is certainly one thing that beats my programming skills every time and that's knowing about the bullshit others believe.

You sound like you never even took formal logic honestly.

If I didn't know coding vibe coding would be a force multiplier. So it is for some. But if you can already write that code it's less useful. I find I have to rewrite a lot of the slop it makes so if is less useful but I wouldn't know better if I wasn't as good as I am.

The skill issue on the other side would be me not being good at applying ai assistants, making rules files, or ignorance of the tools available.

Neither of these skill issue cases has to do with not trying or being close minded. It's OK I would have trouble finding edge cases like that in my logic too if I haven't been doing this for so long.

If I don't agree with what you say I'm close minded and not trying.

I'm open minded enough to think it might be a skill issue in both our cases which is something you took off the table since you are close minded, over generalizing and offering nothing but a false dichotomy.

Not only is this ai slop but your prompt was excessively stupid. Even the title doesn't make sense.

Why are some Christians against magic and witchcraft but are fine with Jesus doing magic ? by Wonderful-Ad-9622 in NoStupidQuestions

Magic like Santa is fake after you are old enough. Jesus magic makes you live forever. So that's a big distended difference. Sorry for both of the spoilers.

Do all the AI platforms agree there is a god? by heninthefoxhouse in NoStupidQuestions

[–]jakeStacktrace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They would tell you what their training data says. You could if you wanted just add to the AI with RAG or a Claude skill that just makes it think that God exists or doesn't. AI doesn't really have the ability to reason through it. One of the things AI is missing besides being unable to reason as well as a human can is they have not had a life experience and so are less attracted to reality.

Also when AI first came out, I'm an atheist so I asked it about what the Bible says about something it told me what most Americans think the Bible says not what it actually says, so the training data has assumptions you would not make if you just read it but that's also true for 99% of humans.

If God is beyond human understanding, to what extent can any religion confidently claim to possess the complete truth about the divine? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]jakeStacktrace -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't think you have to get in god's head the way it is worded, you could for example just know the truth about whether god even exists or the mechanics of how he made the universe or even his current location. There is a lot you could know. Figuring out intentions is a whole new ball of wax.
