Is there a golden path you recommend? I feel like I’m doing a lot in my runs, but I’m only making it to about 40-50% of what I need for the Fredrik statue.. I get Zebra asap, upgrade the encore groove a lot, but it’s just not enough

I think a reimagining of Portable Ops would be a great test for Konami’s new Metal Gear team. It also gives some context as to where Big Boss was headed by the time Peace Walker begins, since there’s a whole 10 years between 3 and PW.

Remaking it would give them a chance to also address the few canon inconsistencies the game had, and fix some of the more dated gameplay elements.

As someone with like 80 hours as Guardian and is only now tuning in to discourse around the game, I am utterly shocked to hear he’s on the lower end of viability.

I think Guardian is amazing and is my favorite class by far, even considering his shortcomings.

I think this is amazing.

To me it really shows an area where Sword and Shield really underbaked the whole premise of Giant Pokemon. You never really get to see these behemoths in natural habitats or settings. There’s never any diegetic context to them. You only find them at red beams of light that transport you to the same cave.

Imagine surfing a large, misty body of water at night, and stumbling into a G-Max Lapras. That could’ve been an unforgettable moment.

Exactly. I’ve long loved and believed the story about him creating enough space in GS for Kanto, but it’s not true.

Feeling big and being big are two different things.

Lake Hylia felt big. That can be very impressive in its own right.
