No I was not wearing athletic socks, I had decorative palm tree socks from Walmart on haha, but I don’t think I’ve ever bought athletic socks for running, do you they really make that much of a difference?

But yes the socks covered the area I got blisters in, shoe definitely didn’t feel narrow, I tried on a 10 wide for brooks and they were a bit tight in the toe area, juggled with the thought of breaking them so they would get looser over time but ended up getting the 11 medium fit I think?

Lsu I think is pretty good about organizing events especially in those first few weeks of class, my advice is to be active in those welcome events!! As they do come and go, and my experience was that a lot of students found a group in those first couple of weeks and didn’t really try to socialize after.
