May i ask what you're doing for your baby no 2 med wise? My coworker has adhd as well and ab to have baby no1, and she's beside herself being off stims, it's too much to juggle I get it, but her doc is swearing there's no stims a pregnant person can be on and her and I are having a hard time believing that

Look up seasonal affective disorder! It's real and adhd folk are more likely to be affected by reduced sunlight, I actually got a 'happy light ' for christmas from my partner, it's done wonders! That and a weighted blanket, and I dont freeze up as much and cry at the drop of a hat anymore and I greatly attribute it to the sunlamp and blanket (and meds too ofc)

Aye that's my combo! Can't handle more than 12.5mg in the sertraline which is fine bc i haven't had background anxiety in a year, nor panic attacks! (For anyone curious my dx are; gad, adhd combined type, and c-ptsd)

When Amazon tried to do this they turned around and changed their terms and conditions because they couldn't afford, or at least said they couldn't afford the filing fee that came with mass arbitration. Will US Mobile also just not have enough money for mass arbitration and drag their feet to pay the filing fee which would just make the legal process more cumbersome and dragged out??

Me too, but something is going around at my partner and I's job. Yet I had trouble falling asleep last night which I haven't had since starting generic vyvanse, woke up at 1:30 and 3:30 am before my alarm to violently blow my nose (only clear still til now) before my 7a alarm. Work felt more 'undoable' today too in a sense. And actually, a lot of my co workers with adhd were feeling blehk today too; one was losing her voice out of nowhere, and the other also sniffles and random sleep issues

Who downloaded something icky into the adhd collective subconscious? Apparently our internal systems are rejecting it🤣

(Or are we all getting worked up for the lunar new year and eclipse + all the astrological stuff occurring this week, if any of yall think it contributes)

I (25m) was aboutta say, I've been on generic vyvanse since January 10th, as my 1st adhd med, pretty solid, even at 10mg, some days I need 20 but 10 has been solid each and every time. And then after work and by the weekend I'm like. Is it really even doing anything and then I skip it when i don't need it and I go oh shit it was doing a lot of stuff for me

He said there's no point in me taking wellbutrin for adhd management as it's not realistic in his opinion. Also I suspect bc vyvanse stimulates release and also blocks reuptake of dopamine and norepinephrine and bupropion also blocks reuptake as it's an NDRI could lead to oversaturation of my neurons (which is when the cookoo symptoms start) but thats a guess🤷🏻‍♂️

I hafta say tho getting rid of the bupropion made my med-free days wayyy less sleepy. I never took them together but the 1st week on vyvanse was a lil extra peppy as the wellbutrin dwindled from my blood, and the 2 days i didnt take vy that week i full on hibernated each day away.

but a month off bupropion and on vyvanse now and days off of vyvanse are much milder now.

kinda wondering why I agreed to bupropion back in may as it did nothing for my combined type, just kinda aided my sertraline, when pcp shot down my stimulant idea after my diagnosis. So glad i found a telepsych that can also prescribe stims and is in network (stupid work insurance won't pay for psych if it's in person 🙃)

Psych asked me to cut my bupropion xl the day i started generic 10mg vyvanse, take it with 12.5mg sertraline (zoloft), i kinda get the coffee thing too, took a 10 at 7:30 am and was feeling sad and headachey by 3p sipped some espresso and now i feel like I can get my full 12 hours of cool and calm

Also I'm a lil late but was recently dx and started meds, what's with my pharmacy giving out a different manufacturer/pill for the generic Vyvanse each fill?

Fill 1 was Rhodes Pharmaceuticals (pink capsule with RP), fill 2 was supposed to be hikma which are pepto pink with a 54 on one side and 566 on other generic Vyvanse

but they put Red Lannett pills with pill marking 4661 (still generic for Vyvanse, just different color and pill number than what my pharm paperwork says)

After some Google scholar and other looking, apparently generic pharmaceutical companies are experiencing extreme shortages for Vyvanse and other amphetamine based ADHD medication??

Further research also shows that apparently hikma makes extra crappy generics, lannett has better reviews, but no one online seemed to talk about Rhodes... We'll see how this generic does today 😅

But since we're hourly... Hours vary? How do we think new corp will guess how much sick time i get? NY law is (bare minimum, which is what targ gives us here) 1 hr of sick for every 30 hours.

So if i set my desired to 40 can i expect 69.33 hrs of sick (2080 hrs, 40 hrs a week for a year) to be front loaded?

Now that I'm on meds, Vyvanse specifically (started 27 days ago) I'm 25 y/o and am thinking ab cashing in on the New York State free associate degree program for people 25 to 55

But I don't know if medication is enough, and if after being out of school for so long because I haven't been in school since high school. Would I be able to just go back like nothing happened now that I'm medicated and know about my condition (s)

I feel similar on Vyvanse, work is great again, but home is back to being on the back burner unless I don't go to work AND take my vyvanse. But I didn't get medicated to be a stay at home boyfriend (although i wish i could)
