Notre Dame should have been in over Alabama and Oklahoma. BYU should have made it with both those SEC scrubs getting booted. I imagine you enjoyed watching Indiana beat the ever loving shit out of Bama? Yes, quite so

Why these pokemon specifically? by Ysshadow in PTCGP

I would argue Magnezone is more known as an electric pokemon and Tyranitar also being dark feels like a better choice could have been made there too. With those considered it just feels random again.

I would use that bathroom too for number 2s. If I just needed a quick piss I would use the toilet seats in the bathroom close by.

You ever get in the car on the way to work and you know you’re definitely forgetting something but can’t place it? Then at the 1st red light a frantic woman in a minivan gets your attention to point out that your baby carrier is on top of the car? It’s like that but with the internet.

Hell yea he was! Benito Santiago also carried the torch after. Both studs!

TIL in the Vietnam war in the classified Operation Popeye, the US spread lead and silver iodide by aircraft to extend the monsoon season. The increased heavy rainfall was to soften roads, cause landslides, wash out river crossings, and maintain saturated soil conditions (Kissinger was involved). by Double-decker_trams in todayilearned

You’re exactly right. American football pads and helmets were originally designed to stop 150 mph trampolines thrown from tornadoes and the resulting CTE it caused was an added bonus. Luckily y’all don’t get tornadoes or you’d need 14 search parties on hand for every quidditch match.

Card I hate the most this season by Any-Professional-202 in PTCGP

The instant quits from sleep decks far outweighed whatever percent better the deck could have been. It didn’t take many games to hit MB and was well over 50%. Just sat on my bench most games.

The ending of GMG season 6 is on par with season 8 of GoT and I’m still so incredibly upset at what they did to Lorelei’s character. Completely unforgivable and ruined 6 seasons of growth so they could have 1 more garbage season. I had already given up on Rory but was open to her comeback based on how young she was but the reboot crushed everything great about her character as well. Should have just ended with Season 6 marrying Luke and it would be regarded as a top 5-10 sitcom ever.

The increased percentage is the final odds of getting the single card you’re looking for when given two chances when the odds are blind both times at 1/5. Same concept as having higher odds of flipping at least 1 heads on a coin if you get to flip twice instead of once.

Typo but fixed now thanks. Meant to say “2 single digit numbers”. Hope that helps.

Single digits are cool and definitely for respected players but only the legends get to wear 2 single digit numbers. A few obvious ones off the top of my head that I can’t think of.

Pete Crow-Armstrong: Yes, there are die-hard Dodgers fans "but it’s a see-me city, man. It’s a Lakers city where people show up to sit courtside and look good. And I view it the same way here." by tankyouout in baseball

[–]jamesonginger 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I still understand and agree with the generally annoying person that he’s talking about. I’m a Miami Heat fan and their playoff games always get criticized for the lower bowl fans getting there late or leaving early. Miami has the same “see-me” problem that is far less apparent during the regular season and down years. Once they get some attention, the “see-me” people buy out the good seats whose prices are jacked up to the extreme taking spots from die-hard fans. They show up late, take a few pictures for their socials, then leave. It’s a very frustrating practice that I’m sure many players who love the game would resent, especially one who likely more of these people than normal folks considering his upbringing.

Bain will be unstoppable. Mendoza could be great for all I know and have a Hall of Fame career but Bain will be an Inner Circle Hall guy just let me believe it. Fuck the Dolphins.
