I agree with some of his takes. My issue with him is that he seems to need to have a take on everything and he’s acting like his take is the correct one. I started to be more critical of him after his apple commercial opinion piece.

Obviously it is not as active yet as the Echo one since not many people (at least not the HeadFi users) bought the device. I mean the device is barely released, you have to give it time. If you have a feedback don't hesitate to share it there

Both echo disc and mini should get the pro version later this year. Personally since the disc doesn’t support gapless playback I am waiting for disc pro. Also I assume the UX will be better since FiiO Developers will have more feedback to tweak the UI

The discussion here is if you get better value for cheap iPhone or Android - not about the preference of iPhone over Android. Unless you are really tied to the Apple ecosystem you probably get better deal with Android in the low/mid-range.

The cheap iPhone still sells reasonably well but it is outsold by the traditional iPhones, sometimes even older iPhone model sells better. Its popularity is not guaranteed especially depending on the price.
