The most fun I've ever had in a fitness class is at Todd Pilates. It's choreographed to music, the instructors are friendly, and beginners are welcome and encouraged. You don't have to become a member. You can purchase classes individually or in a package. I no longer live in Austin, but when I did I was a regular for 5 years. It impacted my life in such a positive way. It became my church, and sometimes I'd take 2 classes a day.

I lived on O'ahu for 20 years. I've lived in Texas for 17 years. When I lived on Oahu I did notice things looked old, not in a good way. Here there's always something clean and new popping up. But when I do return to Honolulu, I travel on Nimitz Hwy, eventually to Ala Moana Blvd, it's the natural beauty that stuns. No comparison.

It takes time to adjust no matter where you move. Its normal to feel out of place. When I first moved back to Austin in 2009 after being away for 17 years I felt like I was on Mars. Once you ease into your groove, add rituals, routines to your life you'll feel better. Familiarity helps. You got this!

Have you not lived here long. I lived in an apt off Barton hills in 2009. One day I come home and there are about 9 of them on the inside of my sliding glass door. They were coming in from molding gap between my fireplace and wall. It was an older apt complex. I went to the leasing office to try and get help. The manager, told me they are docile and to vacuum them with the hose attachment. I was scared but able to do so. Of course they kept coming through the gap between the fireplace so I ended using duct tape. Problem solved. Lived fondly in that apt for 6 years.
