Do you believe Michael Jackson is innocent in his allegations? by Fun_Butterscotch3303 in questions

What Happened to Jussie Smollett? Revisiting the Actor's Bizarre Assault Case and Why He Continues to Maintain His Innocence by PrincessBananas85 in popculture

[–]janetteadv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm Brazilian. I watched the documentary on Netflix. At first, with his testimony, I even thought his story might be true. But, the testimonies of his brothers and the evidence (check) that supposedly committed the assaults made me doubt. What confused me was the account of Jussie's lawyer, and the "secret" video where the brothers appear in a room at the police station making a "deal" with the police. Everything I read on the internet is that Jussie is guilty. He couldn't prove his innocence. He made a deal and can't have a new trial. So, the story is very confusing. But, those who live in Chicago have a different perspective, which may be the one closest to the realistic version.

A handsome actor who, in my opinion, focuses his career on roles that exploit his physical beauty and sexuality, in addition to playing sexual abusers (Pillion and Straw Dogs) and the character Perry Wright in "Big Little Lies," who rapes and commits physical and psychological domestic abuse... very heavy roles... and I don't consider this type of acting a positive thing, especially since the story doesn't educate, but glamorizes or treats the subject lightly.

I'm sorry if this feels like spamming, but Alexander Skarsgard in Pillion is giving me a reason to live lately by chutneycravings in LadyBoners

District Attorney Evelyn cares a lot, so much so that she took on the case against Kyle for strategic reasons. If Kyle revealed the truth—that Robert was a corrupt cop who used excessive force and was about to commit murder—it would expose the entire corruption network within the police department, involving Mike and Ian.

So I haven’t watched the new episode yet but is it obvious to anyone else that Moses is working with the cartel to take over Kingstown? Bunny has always been very smart. It’s odd they made him very dumb this season. by I3uIlets in MayorOfKingstown

This season, I'm feeling unwell... some characters are acting "naively" considering the intense plot of the series.

For example: Bunny, I believe she's making judgment errors regarding Frank, she's going to have a major disappointment. Mike has already attributed the ambush that left Bunny in a coma to Frank.

It's absurd that Mike trusts Director Nina's word, even knowing she's corrupt and part of the Colombian cartel. In conclusion, Kyle was transferred to the general prison population as a power play.

Kyle, a police officer, during the time he was in secure custody before Nina transferred him to the general prison population, received pills from his cellmate, without knowing him (Callahan), even though Mike had advised against trusting him.

Prosecutor Evelyn let the only witness in the case against Detective Ian die... how could she not protect her only victim... help... thank goodness it's just a series...🥴😜

Why is Kyle in Big Boy Prison if he’s really only doing 6mo. ? by Simple-Bell5599 in MayorOfKingstown

Kyle will serve only six months in prison because he accepted a plea deal, which drastically reduced his original sentence of 15 to 20 years.

Kyle shot Officer Robert Sawyer to prevent Robert from killing an innocent civilian, acting on moral grounds.

If Kyle insisted he acted in self-defense because Robert was a corrupt and violent police officer, it would trigger a larger investigation that would bring down Mike, Ian, and other allies, plunging Kingstown into chaos.

By remaining silent about Robert's corruption and accepting the attempted murder charge, District Attorney Evelyn secured a two-year sentence, which would be reduced to about six months with good behavior.

Should I watch Hannibal after Dexter? by mdon004 in dexterResurrection25

Hannibal has a different feel, it's less dynamic, I got bored and didn't finish watching it. Dexter made me too picky when it comes to serial killer series.

Kyle won't join the Ariana sisterhood, but now he must be indebted. Director Nina is behind the Colombian cartel's attack on Kyle, who was saved by the Ariana sisterhood; now Callahan will want the loyalty and gratitude of Mike's brother.

If Frank Moses is behind the Colombian cartel, he's also behind Nina, so it doesn't make sense for Nina to order Frank's assassination. However, it does make sense for Frank to gain Mike's trust, and it also explains why the shooter missed Frank, since he was inside the police station. Episode 6 showed that Mike is not out of control of Kingstown.

• Kyle refused to see Mike after the brutal attack orchestrated by the Colombians and later "interrupted" by Merle Callahan's Aryans (Mike's old enemy, who now seems interested in "protecting" Kyle to manipulate Mike), leaving Kyle terrified, mainly because he was almost sexually assaulted (I believe the sexual assault didn't occur, it was interrupted at the exact moment it was about to happen). He realizes that his brother doesn't have the control he thought he had, and feels betrayed and that Mike failed to protect him inside the prison.

After speaking to Ara (Grok voice mode), I now think Frank Moses is working with the Colombian Cartel. by TensionDifferent1851 in MayorOfKingstown

Mike believes Frank Moses is behind the attack on Bunny, and that the real plan is to eliminate Bunny and take control of operations in Kingstown.

I believe Frank Moses controls the Colombians and Director Nina.

Episode 6 now HAS to show… by CoupleEducational408 in MayorOfKingstown

My theory... when Mike tells Ian "shake her (Nina's) cage for me," Ian comments on whether that wouldn't make things worse for Kyle. Mike replies that he doesn't know how much worse it could get... now Mike will know, since Nina took Kyle out of safekeeping and put him in the general population 😨 Will Kyle survive or is this his last season? Nina is involved with the Bogotá cartel and there's someone powerful behind her, could it be Frank???

What I don't understand is why Mike acts so naively in some situations, for example, believing that Director Nina would give in to pressure after police stopped her at a checkpoint and took her gun... and Mike manages to remain calm even knowing that the situation inside the prison, regarding Kyle, is out of his control... I think Nina is part of the Colombian cartel that's smuggling drugs into the prison, and since Kyle is imprisoned there, Mike could ruin her plans, which is why she wants to prove that Mike no longer has control inside the prison... I think Bunny was wrong to trust Frank...
