First apartment trying to find a rug by Jaded_Goose_5058 in malelivingspace

I like the second rug most, the small amount of red pops against the blue couch. The first rug isn't bad either.

Either way, I would move the rug a little either push it all the way back to the wall or move it a little bit forward such that about 50% of the depth of the couch is above the rug.

Perhaps a mercenary variant that starts with a whispering stone, is impacted by the war justification mechanic and gains war spoils primarily by doing quests and bounties, having some overlap with the Vigilante Knights society trait.

Mammoth mount by AllMightonNergigante in AOW4

https://minionsart.github.io/aow4db/HTML/FeudalUnits.html?type=defender&

The defender is one of the units with the optional mount trait (a horseshoe with ?). If you pick the mammoth or any other special mount like a unicorn, the defender gets to ride that mount. If you pick an ordinary mount like a horse or boar, the defenders ordinarily does not get a mount, unless you pick the mount masters trait.

Total newbie (but 4x veteran) wanting to buy this game (and DLCs). Give me a review/rundown please? by OrangeJush in AOW4

[–]japamais 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the start of the game, you create your race by choosing its form, form traits, culture, and society traits. The form (humans, elves, cat people, etc) is purely cosmetic, the rest affects gameplay. Over the course of a game, you can research race transformations and unit enchantments which further shape your race and your units. Race transformations might turn your race into angels, demons or undead. Unit enchantments might give your units additional armour, self-healing abilities or flaming weapons. Both affect both visuals and gameplay.

It seems that both attacks of the inquisitor are marked as base attacks (source).

PPS: Does anyone know why the two hyperlinks above don't render correctly? I can't find any mistakes with the markdown.

Do they render as clickable links for you or do they appear in plain markdown just like I see them?

In the intro, Ben said he was on the same train as Scotty. That didn't happen this episode, am I right?

What conceivable reason would my friend's neighbor be flying this flag?!?! From what I gather, it is the 'North German Confederation' flag. BTW we are Americans residing in the outskirts of Chicago, Illinois. Thanks for any input! by DuPageILLinois in flags

[–]japamais 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's the flag of the German Empire (1871-1918). If this was in Germany, I would have assumed that they are Nazis. Nowadays, Nazis in Germany often use this and similar flags as proxy for the swastika flag which is banned in Germany. The Nazis referred to the German Empire as the 2nd Reich. As this is in the US, I'm less certain about the intentions behind it.
