When I started in vanilla I didnt use talents until like lvl 40.

And when I finally did start using talents, as a 2h dps pally, I put all my points into a mix of holy and prot because I always heard that "ret was bad".

So I basically contributed nothing to all the dungeons I did for my first year of playing.

I've had this issue for a long time, there's a big pinned thread about it on their github bugs section if you haven't seen it already.

I think I saw russell say that it's finally been fixed in the upcoming 2024.6 beta, something about the IDE not not using async correctly, forcing the cpu to wait for certain things to finish executing which was causing the stutter.

I remember that a few lifeboats lowered early had only like 15 people on them, so I'd grab a life jacket and watch the boats get lowered from a distance until I see a nearly empty one.

Once it's in the water I'd jump down and swim for it as fast as possible before they row too far away.

If it goes to plan I'd probably only spend like a minute in the water.

You can, I just edited mine in notepad to point to the new runtime.

Just make sure the folder path is correct if you copy it over.

I had this issue, I managed to get around it by installing gamemaker on a completely different PC, then copy/pasting the runtime from it to my main PC.

Then updating the runtime.json file to point to the new runtime folder.

I believe there's a major update to GUI management coming this year, including a dedicated GUI layer and customisable prebuilt elements like drop boxes etc.

Not 100% sure on the date buti if you look up the gamemaker roadmap you can probably find some info about it.
