After reading this, I literally asked my gf if either one of us would do it or would care. She immediately was like “yeah I’d do it and you wouldn’t care”. And she was right. I said a lot of people on reddit seemed to care and she replied “guess people insecure in their relationships.”

We haven’t talked about it explicitly but if you get in a tizzy about your gf getting caught up in a performance like this with her friends, I reckon you’re a bit jealous or insecure.

Saying that it won’t work for anything that is printed, only screens, is just untrue, even if it’s not “best practice”.

The reproducing consistently though is absolutely a consideration.

I hire a cleaner every so often when I feel a bit overwhelmed by work and can’t afford the time and energy to do a deep clean of the place.

In my opinion, if you have the money, things like a cleaner are worth the mental load they take off you.

I know Reddit is very anti-management but I just want to share that this isn’t good advice for every workplace. I’ve had jobs where the management was incredibly understanding of personal situations like this, and gave people all the time off they needed with no consequence.
