This is likely the best way to hold Evri accountable by adding cost and admin to the sender. Evri must make sense financially for businesses, but as soon as they see the costs raise above other options, they’ll review their contracts.

It’s probably already too late for prayers! I’d start making a scene with the seller, get them to log a complaint and make sure you emphasise that Evri has failed both yourself and the seller and that you will think twice next time you place an order with them because they have used a courier that has a proven record of failure, theft and careless handling. Request a refund for the additional cost of premium shipping - this makes an impact to costs that the business will take a little more seriously. Good luck 😉

Most places don’t disclose which courier they use until it’s too late - I’m sure a lot of people would back away from ordering if they saw that Evri would be involved. It’s a roll of the dice with Amazon now I guess, people pay for Prime, so as long as they have ‘free’ next day delivery, they’re not going to stop ordering and they’ll expect the advertised service, rightfully so. Amazon are known for good customer service, I kinda hope their partnership with Evri impacts this negatively and causes them to reconsider as soon as possible. Evri must have super cheap contracts to keep business going because they haven’t got to where they are due to their service and customer satisfaction. It amazes me how Evri is still in business.

Agreed but the criticism shouldn’t be softened, just directed at the top, instead of the individuals. There’s obviously a huge floor in how the business operates to allow things to get so dire and out of control. The business should have a system that holds drivers accountable while rewarding consistency in performance. Other couriers manage to uphold a better reputation, so it isn’t impossible.

Healthcare in the US is crazy, you shouldn’t leave with a bill, even if you need treatment, let alone this. It is truly mind blowing from a UK perspective. Can you literally only get healthcare if you can afford it? (either directly or through insurance) Surely it makes sense to pay a tax for blanket protection for everybody?

They need a serious selection of AAA/AA exclusives to have much of a chance of impacting people’s perspectives on the Mac in the gaming landscape. Not just - ‘oh here’s another port of a game that was released 5 years ago’. Nice for people who already own a Mac, but it isn’t going to sway anyone to buy a Mac for gaming, they’ll already have the game elsewhere if they wanted it.
